“This store has the most recent automated order takers, fast and efficient, hot burgers. The staff is just as rude as any in the area, nothing new here. One word of advice, check your fries to be sure they haven't been recycled, refried and brown. This is completely unacceptable and not expected from McDonald's.“

“I wanted to see what all of the hype was about Korean corn dogs. Korean corn dogs have a batter that is made of rice flour and fried in hot oil, so they are very crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, like fried mochi. Some of them have little cubes of potato mixed into the batter so they are like crispy French fries on the outside.I was very excited to find out that "Corn Dogs by Mr. Cow" in Hilo has Korean corn dogs and wanted to try them while I have the opportunity. They were terrific! Very tasty! Not healthy, but definitely fun to experience Korean street food.You can get a sausage on the inside or mozzarella or cheddar cheese, or you can get half sausage, half cheese.We got one Mr. Cow Classic outside with half sausage, half cheddar inside, one Fried Potato outside with half sausage, half mozzarella inside, and one Flaming Potato with flaming Cheeto crumbs on the outside. We also got the cheese balls. Piggies! Highly recommend for a yummy Korean street food experience!“

“It's pretty typical of McDonald's in most towns. I do love McDonald's French Fries when they're hot. They make the best! They're chocolate shake was good. I had the McChicken sandwich. I have them make it plain as they always put too much mayo on it. It was good as I was starving! 🍗🍟🧋

“The best pizza I have every order from the Hut. Kinoole location you rock!!! Glad I chose to travel the extra few miles. Almost turned down pizza because the only time I ordered from the Hilo location (since their move) I not only got bad customer service but the pizza was nasty. The pizza tastied like garbage with a doughy texture like wet dog. As long as the Kinoole location is around I will remain a customer.“

“K's Drive-In began in 1964, as did I LOL there is a reason it has been around for this long. All the local classics done well. Breakfast lunch or dinner. They are known for their twist cones and the flavors change often. French fries are really good here as is the beef stew. Order at the window and sit on the patio or get it to go“

“This McDonald's isn't as busy as the Keaau location. The staff are friendly and polite. My orders are usually made accurately. I would definitely recommend this McDonald's.

Parking: There's a small parking area around the restaurant. However, if that area is filled there is other parking stalls around the Puna Kai Shopping Center.

“This specific location of panda express is great it has fast order time and there specific locations food is consistent hot/warm and in their drinks they don't put too much ice as in like they don't fill it with ice too the top so I would highly recommend this location

“I just happen to be walking down the street and I walked into this tiny little restaurant, I ordered a fried egg patty with rice also macaroni salad and some round little fried thing, sorry I don't know what it's called It was, very surprised how good it was... after I ate it I couldn't wait to go back but because I found it on my walk I couldn't find it again on my trip to Hilo, now I have flown back to the mainland but I'm craving going to this restaurant where I live we don't have anything like it or else I would try to go find something similar, place itself is kind of ugly on a street where it's rare that they even put names up of businesses I didn't know this place was even open as all businesses on the street look to be dark and closed which is really strange but I'm glad I happen to walk in and make a purchase because I'll never forget how good this restaurant is.“

“This Berger King has a very good location just outside Pahoa. The location is a locally owned franchise, not a corporate owned location. Normally I frequent locally owned non franchised business however, I was hungry, location was an absolute priority, consistent quality was needed along with fast service. “honestly this McDonald's should be shut down by Ronald McDonald himself! McDonald's is supposed to be a charitable organization but yet this specific location is anything but charitable or compassionate or even employed by decent people. previously I have been rudely forced to unplug my phone from the outlet at this location when I was trying to load my McDonald's app in order to earn my points or even redeem my rewards. secondly there is no other way to log into my McDonald's account considering I was not allowed to charge my phone to login to my McDonald's account. now just to top it all off as I was walking by I noticed the drive-thru was blocked off and people were forced to reverse out of the drive-thru so I simply asked the employee outside what was going on and if everything was okay I was ignored but yet this specific employee could talk to everyone but me and I honestly believe it was because I am a foreigner to Hawaii because this specific employee answered everyone else who just happened to be a local or of the same ethnicity as them. the majority actually I can confidently say all of the employees are of Filipino ethnicity and I believe they would not hire anyone else of a different ethnicity. do not go to this McDonald's as I can confidently say they are prejudice and racist if you are not Filipino!“

It's clean, the food is great and it's so nice to see a Female- entrepreneur (Owner) doing so well.I feel Hilo is either 1 taco-bell short or neither of the 2 Taco bells is large enough...or a second drive-through lane is needed at the larger one....(Same as Mcdonalds) My reasoning is that lines shouldn't wrap around the block for so many hours a day. At both locations. That is an indication of a problem.That being said, This team is extremely busy, so the following critique that I reserve my 5th star for is pretty critical on my part, but occasionally wait times are excessive and fast food shouldn't have long wait times.So here it is. The "A" Team at this location is insanely good. The owner needs to improve the "B" team. Significantly. If She needs to stay as the Chiefess of the "c" team, so be it. “The food is decent here. Orange Bang is good if you're craving a less thick Orange Julius.

Chili is good, but what's up with the rice? This is the second time I said no rice and got rice. All I wanted was a bowl of chili. Yesterday I had it for lunch and it was good. Tonight I order two chilis to go and get home and there's that nasty rice in there. I'll eat it, but I really don't want to. Hate to waste $28 worth of food.

I ate part of the first chili, but that rice is really disgusting. Sucks when you're craving chili all day and go to get it and it's a total let down. The other one is going straight in the garbage.“

“Update: Since this review, I have been back several times, very consistent sandwiches, app has improved and the same guys that have been there for years are worth tipping. I rarely go to restaurants or fast food, but these guys are sandwich artists. I recently went to keaau subway since they had a BOGO online deal. Imade a huge mistake. The workers there made a terrible sandwich. It was stale bread, wrong bread, little veggies, no sauce (next to none). I have been spoiled by the Pahoa subway.Best Subways around. Hawaii subways take care of every request. Mainland subways are slow, stale and bland. I understand that is a low morale job, but at least fake it. They do tend to run out of white chocolate mac nut cookies and NEVER refill them or make more. At least they don't run out of certain breads and sandwich types.“

“Good pizza … for traveller like us, just arrived in Hilo by fly, we want eat something in hotel because we were tired. Good pizza, good sauce one pizza without cheese and both were overall good. The order by website was very easy and the the delivery girl was kind. The delivery was perfect in time as indicated in the delivery app.“

Went thru drive thru and the lady with the Asian accent owed me 5 cents change, she wasn't going to give it but times are hard, so I had to tell her she owed me 5 cents. Can't go wrong with Panda Express. In Hilo they have a drive thru but no chow fun on the menu. Price for 2 choice plate I noticed cost a little more.“
