“God bless this Mc Donald's. We arrived with 2 hungry small children. They just closed. Mom and dad is freaking out because children will go bananas. Dad knocks on the door waving for someone to help. A worker came and confirmed our worse nightmare, they just closed. She must have seen the fear in our eyes and with some ohana spirit took our order. A happy ending and huge mahalos from our children. There are still good people in this world.“

“What a gem! The mushroom sandwich was amazing! Added grilled pineapple and Havarti cheese, yum!! Fries with the garlic aoli were also so delicious. Totally appreciate the local ingredients and flavors were on point. Friendly folks working there too. Definitely check it out.“

“This was a great place to eat. The food tasted amazing (definitely certified ono aka delicious) and very filling. The staff was friendly and the service was relatively quick. All of the ingredients were fresh. It was very close to the ocean and local shops, and there was a bathroom inside (which was an extra bonus if you've been out and about). I would definitely recommend it to others!“

“Great place to stop on your way south from Kona or headed north to Kona. We went for Taco Tuesdays this time and enjoyed the grilled fish tacos, regular fish and chips, and grilled fish and chips and, as usual, had leftovers to bring home for the next day. Friendly staff. Quick services and Ono food.“

“We just revisited Kona after a four year away. The name change didn’t effect service or quality. We had a great server Shiloh and so friendly. Honestly we had a margarita and a Bloody Mary with an order of onion rings. I hope to have time to go back before we leave the island.“

“Been coming here for many years when in the area. Feel like it’s consistent. Sometimes short staffed. But that’s the nature of the beast in this neck of the palms. Beer is cold and plentiful. Food is always good and better than typical bar food. Friendly servers. Way better than the hotels!! Locals and travelers alike feel at home. Happy Hour 2-5pm.Parking: Tons“

“I love DQ. Sometime I wish they would be open a little later til 9 or 10pm too. Anywho I got the Oreo hot chocolate blizzard. One of my favs. Wondering if you folks wouldn't mind putting marshmallows fluff on it and toast it instead of whip cream.“

“Awesome experience. Stopped in around 430 and the place was pretty empty and got a table quickly. Heather was our waitress and boy was she perfect. Gave great recommendations (taco, Cobb salad, and fish and chips) and all were great. My two kids enjoyed the taco salad and the chicken quesadilla. This was a welcome experience and exactly what we needed. Also gave great recommendations on things to do in the area. Thank you from a vacationer.“

“Here on vacation from Australia. The food was fantastic, tasted great, really fresh. Lots of local craft beers on tap. Absolutely recommend.Vegetarian options: Some veg options and a solid selection of the menu can be made vego.Parking: Street parking, plenty of spots, but it's on the highway, so the traffic can be a problem.Kid-friendliness: A few options for kids, but our kids liked most of the regular menu“
