The staff was friendly and patient as we asked questions about ingredients for an allergy. We were there in the late morning/early afternoon and while there were still selections, some offerings were out understandably. Highly recommend!“

“Snagged 4 dozen butter rolls on our way back to Alaska- they were for Thanksgiving, most went to the Anchorage/Matsu area but some traveled as far as Fairbanks.

Delicious, wish we had these available locally!!! Price is good, food is great! Service is awesome!

Once Gigi finished with our cake setup, the beauty of it literally took my breath away and I immediately became teary eyed because all the months of planning- phone conversations and text messages with Gigi that went into designing this cake finally became a reality!I really appreciated how responsive she was with me throughout the design process. I wanted to add on some things to the design a couple weeks prior to our event date and Gigi was very accommodating with that. Her attention to the small details on the cake were beyond spectacular. She surprised us with the center of our teal lilies spray painted with gold!The taste of the cake itself was phenomenal. My workplace orders it annually come Thanksgiving time and most recently a co-worker picked one up for us to devour as an afternoon dessert.DESSERT:Pumpkin Custard PieFirst off, I'm a huge custard pie fan. Pumpkin, I'll eat but don't enjoy it as much as my eggy love. Mix the two together and you've got a damn tasty concoction. S&J's crust is the closest to my mom's homemade version, yet hers is still better ;). Flakey and moist with a surprising crunch to the exterior. The texture of the filling is my only quibble. The closest paradigm I can come up with is that it's similar to ricotta cheese; gritty and gelatinous. I'm guessing that's what happens when you combine the two fillings together. It's not repulsive but just a bit odd on the palate. That tidbit aside, the pies always have a fresh, quality ingredient-taste. Top it with some whipped cream and you'll moan with pleasure, lol. “My husband and I stopped here after watching the sunrise at HaleakalĀ. It is the cutest little spot. The pastry shop and coffees as open early and dining/breakfast start at 10am. We were early so we got some yummy quiche, the best berry mango scone I’ve ever had and some hot cocoa and lattes. I’m unsure why there are bad reviews for hours or service. The barista we spoke to was lovely, we had a great conversation and a couple of the customers that were local waiting behind us also were so kind. Interactions are dependent on one’s own attitude and willingness to be open/friendly, and not solely the responsibility of the server/waitstaff. I’d ignore the negative reviews and definitely pop in for morning coffee and pastries or to dine in after 10am.“

One of the few places in Maui where you can have legit dinakdakan.
