Dear Paia Fishmarket (Lahaina): you are missed already. Pray you are all safe. Much loveFood here is incredible. I love sitting in the outdoor seating for lunch so I can hear the birds at the Banyan Tree (across the street). Service was a bit off during my last visit… maybe the cashier was new? Enjoyed eating here. Out of everything we tried, the calamari is a winner. Very soft with no rubbery texture and very crisp breading. We came back a couple days later for another serving. The grilled fish was unfortunately inconsistent with one dish coming out just right and other quite overcooked and hard. Happy hour was a good price for the area, but the Mai Tai was overly sweet and not garnished. Stick with the beer, which had a good selection of local options.
