“This was the best sushi we’ve tried so far. We stopped here once just to try it, and it was so good that we came back again for more sushi and poke. “Now I will say we had an insider dining with us so our experience/service was top notch. But everything that we tried was absolutely incredible from start to finish. We had the following and I can’t begin to explain how YUMMY it all was.

“I’m pretty fussy about Poke and didn’t expect to like this as much as I do given its location in the pretty uninteresting food court at whaler’s village, but we’ve now been 3 times on 3 different trips to Maui. We always get the big kahuna Maui Signature bowl with ahi and I’m always impressed with the quantity and quality of the Poke which is always so fresh, soft, and with very little sauce. I love that it’s very ‘pure’ but you also get many other toppings in the bowl too - great combination. Highly recommend for taste and great value.“

“My husband and I had a wonderful Omakase experience at Takumi Maui. The chef and staff were very kind and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. And the ambiance of the restaurant is fresh, clean and authentic. I cannot wait to go back!“
