“I went to several great poke places during my trip to Hawaii, and this one was by far the best. The salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious. They say they don't use frozen fish, so the tuna sashimi was so fresh and the seasoning was perfect, making it the best. Even my 11-year-old son enjoyed it very much!
The owner, Tommy, was very pleasant and friendly.
I was so sad that I visited on the last day. I definitely recommend it.“
“Pricing, delivery service and their experienced in catering. Satisfied customer 28 years ago. We used them when my Dad passed away in 1993.“
“Celebrated my Mom's 90th birthday this past Sunday, 4/14/24!!It was awesome! Hawaiian food was enjoyed by 200 people, the staff was right on assisting, replenishing, setting up and taking care of our guests needs. They were awesome! They help setup up pupu table with chichiron, lumpia & Filipino desserts which we brought in. They supplied the paper goods. They provided two awesome full sheet cases, chocolate with chantilly frosting which was devoured and a full sheet dobash cake with my Mom's photo with a tiger ! with lettering "Roaring into the 90's".. We totally enjoyed each moment from setup time 9am to breakdown 2pm... Mahalo Okinawan Ctr.“
“We had an amazing private dining experience at home with chef Scott. The food was outstanding - every person ate every morsel of every course. It was an experience of a lifetime that we will not forget. Chef Scott and his son were a fantastic duo and left the kitchen spotless after they left. Strongly recommend.“
“On an island that is known for whimsical and carefree living rises a chef that has harnessed the bountiful treasures of the islands with careful and controlled techniques. Chef Bobby created an excellent meal that honors the traditions of two worlds, Hawaii and Georgia. Thanks for a wonderful dining experience. Keep up the great work.“
“This catering service was absolutely amazing. They are a family owned and operated company. Very wholesome and honest. If you’re looking for an affordable, accommodating, and very friendly catering service and experience, G Town Catering is top notch!“
“I have been here twice; once for breakfast and once for plate lunch. Both were solid meals, good portions and I got out under $15. I had a Portuguese sausage omelet for breakfast and chicken katsu curry for lunch. The picture is half way through the regular size portion. The interior doesn't have a lot of seating but it's clean and air conditioned.. . I highly recommend this Ewa Beach hole in the wall. Plus they cater. Ono-licious.“
“been to 3 parties in the last 4 months all catered by Ige’s . I like their bar b q pork.“
“Simply the best for any fundraiser and for your tummy too“
“If I could give a 10 star review, I would! As we were coming from out of the country to Oahu for our wedding, we hired Hale Aina Caterers based on a recommendation from our venue. We were a bit hesitant at first with not being able to try any food beforehand, however the menu looked mouthwatering, the customer service was friendly and we felt the pricing was quite reasonable so we trusted the process and booked them. If I said the food was amazing, it would be an understatement. Everything was prepared perfectly and complimented our setting and intimate wedding group (which came with a few dietary restrictions). Thank you again for being a part of making our big day perfect!Tammy & Ty“

“Well my friends, Finally made it back to En Fuego! We all ordered our normal favorites and we all loved our dishes. I got the pastele stew with garlic chicken. As much as I enjoyed the stew, I was so sad that I didn't have more garlic chicken! It was amazing! Not overly garlicky or to hard. So freaking good. This is definitely my new favorite garlic chicken. We also ordered the squid luau and is was ono! Nice chunks of squid and just the right amount of coconut and sweetness. B ordered the loco moco and he rated it a 11/10. Place is super clean, the staff very friendly as well! Well done En Fuego! My new favorite place in Kapolei. #supportlocal“
“Has very friendly staff in the operations office and was very helpful with all the questions I had. The facility is well secured and has their employees in their best interest. They even provide shuttle service to and from the facility to the nearest bus stop for those who don’t have a car.“
“We got the chop steak kit a few days ago. It came with everything we needed to prepare the dish even the oil. We had enough for 2 dinners and we truly enjoyed it. Lots of veggies, the way we like it and the meat was plentiful and tender. It was so tasty. We look forward to making future purchases of different dishes. The kits are wonderful since we can’t go to the grocery store too often.“

“A co-worker is always willing to pick up lunch for us … This time it was from Nippon Bento & Catering on Waiakamilo Road, near Hart Street. Their menu is vast, with 38 bentos, starting at $7.75, and 4 donburi bowls for $8.75. Two of us ordered #33, the Deluxe Bento with Korean Chicken, Meat Jun, and Stir-fried vegetables. It came with rice, topped with Furikake, two pieces of takuwan, edamame, long rice, and a small container of sauce for the meat jun. All for $15.75, plus tax. Brown rice is an option for $0.50 more.
The bento is hearty, and I couldn’t finish all of the rice. My issue with my bento was that the Korean chicken was soggy; I expect Korean chicken to be nice and crispy. It could be due to the time it was sitting in the bento with the cover on as we’ve experienced similar issues with fried food in plastic containers … The heat of the food creates “steam”, which softens anything crispy.
To me, my Deluxe Bento for $15.75 is a valid alternative to the Z**P** from you know where that costs between $16.15 and $18.65, depending on protein options. Recommended!“

“Stopped for an early lunch on a Thursday. Very fortunate that there was parking, because after we pulled in the two other spots filled up instantly. Not to knock the service at this location, but I believe future orders will be take-out. Besides, when you eat at home you can just let the food coma knock you out, as opposed to fighting it on the drive home from the restaurant.
We started with the guacamole and chips. It seemed a little unusual that it was served in a take out bowl, but upon reflection this makes perfect sense. We didn't finish it, and it easily packed up to go with us. Also, it was a nice chunky style that we liked very much.
I ordered the 3 carne asada (steak) street tacos. Awesome.
My wife ordered the carnitas (pork) Barrio burrito. Going to order this the next time.
My mother-in-law and grandmother both had shrimp Barrio burritos. They didn't share.
Everyone raved about the food. Service was top notch, with the waitress stopping by often to check our water, quality of food. When we finished up we also ordered some things to go.
Now, about the big mural on the wall (seen in other reviews):
India Maria ????? Selena
Cantiflas Maria Felix ?????
The waitress told me the name of the person on the far right side, but I must have written it down incorrectly. Not a big problem, we'll most likely be back soon.“
“Best food truck I’ve ever eaten from! I’m a western New Yorker, we cook and/or put hot sauce on everything. Not fully understanding all of the menu options, the owner, was so friendly, offered information about the types of fresh food he had and even offered us samples of the Ahi poke. Once a nay sayin skeptic, I’m now a true believer in raw fish as an amazing meal. I can’t say enough about how tasty this food was. We also had the Shrimp Tempura, Ahi Katsu and Limo Oi’o. All were absolutely some of the best food we had in over a week in Hawaii.“

“I love their vegetarian stir fry! I have to limit my sodium intake, and this dish gives me the flavor I need without a lot of salt.“
“I ordered 5 different flavors for a birthday party and it was a hit. No leftovers at all! Personal favorite is the garlic Parmesan and the honey mustard! Amazing service, 10/10 recommend. Will be ordering again!“
“Stepping into Marujyu Market is like stepping back into the Hawaii. Here they have all of the classic Hawaiian food dishes like Laulau, Lomi Salmon, Kalua Pig, Chicken Long Rice, Poke, etc. The Kalua Pig was so tender and juicy with so much flavor, definitely a favorite of mine. If you no can decide what to get they get a good selection of Hawaiian combo plates plus you can you two and three choice plates too. Have not had any problem finding parking even when we went New Year Eve.“
