“Stumbled upon the food trucks when we were in the area. Decided to try this one out, which turned out to be good. The special was a steak dish and also had the pork/chicken combo.
Everything was pretty good, however the menu song doesn’t let you know everything you are getting. I didn’t know the chicken was with noodles, the special didn’t specify the sides, etc.
In any event, enjoyed it all (even though the Mac salad is like 45% mayo)
Would definitely get the kalua pork and absolutely would get the steak special again. It was my favourite.“

“I have been here twice; once for breakfast and once for plate lunch. Both were solid meals, good portions and I got out under $15. I had a Portuguese sausage omelet for breakfast and chicken katsu curry for lunch. The picture is half way through the regular size portion. The interior doesn't have a lot of seating but it's clean and air conditioned.. . I highly recommend this Ewa Beach hole in the wall. Plus they cater. Ono-licious.“

“I went to several great poke places during my trip to Hawaii, and this one was by far the best. The salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious. They say they don't use frozen fish, so the tuna sashimi was so fresh and the seasoning was perfect, making it the best. Even my 11-year-old son enjoyed it very much!
The owner, Tommy, was very pleasant and friendly.

“Well my friends, Finally made it back to En Fuego! We all ordered our normal favorites and we all loved our dishes. I got the pastele stew with garlic chicken. As much as I enjoyed the stew, I was so sad that I didn't have more garlic chicken! It was amazing! Not overly garlicky or to hard. So freaking good. This is definitely my new favorite garlic chicken. We also ordered the squid luau and is was ono! Nice chunks of squid and just the right amount of coconut and sweetness. “If I could give a 10 star review, I would! As we were coming from out of the country to Oahu for our wedding, we hired Hale Aina Caterers based on a recommendation from our venue. We were a bit hesitant at first with not being able to try any food beforehand, however the menu looked mouthwatering, the customer service was friendly and we felt the pricing was quite reasonable so we trusted the process and booked them. If I said the food was amazing, it would be an understatement. Everything was prepared perfectly and complimented our setting and intimate wedding group (which came with a few dietary restrictions). “Has very friendly staff in the operations office and was very helpful with all the questions I had. The facility is well secured and has their employees in their best interest. They even provide shuttle service to and from the facility to the nearest bus stop for those who don’t have a car.“

“We got the chop steak kit a few days ago. It came with everything we needed to prepare the dish even the oil. We had enough for 2 dinners and we truly enjoyed it. Lots of veggies, the way we like it and the meat was plentiful and tender. It was so tasty. We look forward to making future purchases of different dishes. “Update: I've been coming since this place was created as an offshoot of el palenque. I like showing support to businesses I like so off and on when I'm on island I stop here. The menu is quite expensive and has a lot of variety for those on any craving within the Mexican genre. Recently I've done two orders of burritos and one order of fries with a drink. I never had a coffee from here so when I had to work one morning I thought to give it a shot. Despite the name and me thinking it was horchata with hints of coffee it was quite coffee forward with hints of horchata which was regardless quite good. The burritos were a 2 for one chorizo egg burrito and a Cali burrito. The burritos in general were somewhat smaller than they originally were when they started which were smaller than what I'm used to from other places even palenque depending on what burrito you order. Taste as always though is still exceptional and filling is not chimped out. As for the fries this was ginormous even compared to palenque with the same cheeses and seasonings as there while also having solid salsas to boot. Everything was perfect on that and loved every second of it. Overall if the burritos were bigger for the price it's an easy 5 but regardless a solid place I'll always support.

Love everything the el palenque fam come up with and barrio café continues to remind me of being in la again. Would toss a 5 but from what I ate the portions can be smaller than I hoped compared to their other place down the road. Love the food though.“

“A co-worker is always willing to pick up lunch for us … This time it was from Nippon Bento & Catering on Waiakamilo Road, near Hart Street. Their menu is vast, with 38 bentos, starting at $7.75, and 4 donburi bowls for $8.75. Two of us ordered #33, the Deluxe Bento with Korean Chicken, Meat Jun, and Stir-fried vegetables. It came with rice, topped with Furikake, two pieces of takuwan, edamame, long rice, and a small container of sauce for the meat jun. All for $15.75, plus tax. Brown rice is an option for $0.50 more.

The bento is hearty, and I couldn’t finish all of the rice. My issue with my bento was that the Korean chicken was soggy; I expect Korean chicken to be nice and crispy. It could be due to the time it was sitting in the bento with the cover on as we’ve experienced similar issues with fried food in plastic containers … The heat of the food creates “steam”, which softens anything crispy.

To me, my Deluxe Bento for $15.75 is a valid alternative to the Z**P** from you know where that costs between $16.15 and $18.65, depending on protein options. Recommended!“

“Best food truck I’ve ever eaten from! I’m a western New Yorker, we cook and/or put hot sauce on everything. Not fully understanding all of the menu options, the owner, was so friendly, offered information about the types of fresh food he had and even offered us samples of the Ahi poke. Once a nay sayin skeptic, I’m now a true believer in raw fish as an amazing meal. I can’t say enough about how tasty this food was. We also had the Shrimp Tempura, Ahi Katsu and Limo Oi’o. All were absolutely some of the best food we had in over a week in Hawaii.“

“The portions here are HUGE! The kalbi combo is a steal and the marinade is amazing.
We ended up eating here three times during our five day trip in Ko Olina.
A mini size was perfect for me (2 kalbi ribs with rice and two sides). My husband did well with the regular (3 kalbi ribs with rice and four sides). You can also buy more side dishes.
Everything tasted super fresh and delicious.

“Stepping into Marujyu Market is like stepping back into the Hawaii. Here they have all of the classic Hawaiian food dishes like Laulau, Lomi Salmon, Kalua Pig, Chicken Long Rice, Poke, etc. The Kalua Pig was so tender and juicy with so much flavor, definitely a favorite of mine. If you no can decide what to get they get a good selection of Hawaiian combo plates plus you can you two and three choice plates too. Have not had any problem finding parking even when we went New Year Eve.“
