“Happened to be walking by, saw how busy it was, and loved the chill vibe so I waited for a table and so glad I did. Staff is EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL! Food was outstanding! The breakfast burrito was 10/10! The smash burger is one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long long time. The pancakes were fluffy and full of flavor! Would 110% recommend Cafe Mambo and definitely worth the wait if they don’t have an empty table!”

“What a lovely gem in Paia. Great location and very warm and inviting. Services was really good and very friendly. The sushi was really tasty, my husband had that and me as a vegetarian had the Blackend Tofu. I realize food is pricey in Maui however charging the same for the tofu dish as fresh fish was a bit much. But it was and excellent dish.”

“We had a very memorable experience at Aumakua. Ames was our kavatender and she did a phenomenal job and explaining the history of kava and its deeply rooted traditions. I’ve been to several kava bars and I would easily come back to this place in a heartbeat. Highly recommend paying a visit here.”

“Got the macadamia coconut vegan ice cream which was delicious! What initially pulled us off the street was the delicious cookie smell. However, some of their cookies are GF but none of them are vegan😒”

“Super vibey, they had set it up very cute! Nice tables and prompt service. We got the Aburi Shimesaba which was new for us, and very good! My wife enjoyed the Kakuni soup and the noodles were es expected - DELICIOUS! Also didn't know Soba was a complete protein, added bonus. The sushi rolls were good, but I did find it odd for the price that we only got a half roll (6 pieces). I think price-wise a full roll is to be expected, but everything seemed handmade and tasted clean and yummy. Water was always full, super nice server, and the mochi was the best I've had”

“Travis was our guy, so friendly an chill offered great choices and had such a nice smile. Bar service was amazing. Food was exceptional tender calamari with a dipping sauce recommended by Travis was what brought us back a 2nd time. And the burger. Wow. My husband is a chef and it made him very happy. The margaritas where delicious and so refreshing. Thankyou we will make it part of our trip next time too .Many Blessings .”
