“I made the conditional 25 dollar cancellation fee—reservation on open table days ago, and I recommend to make one ahead to reserve a table.
Parking is next door in the building, directly map the location to marin towel manciple parking is better option for you. Then walk down to the restaurant.
The two non-alcoholic drinks I have ordered the cucumber sour and house drink of the day, I highly recommend.
Corn one is way too cheesy and strong truffle flavor.
The beef is highly recommend.
Scallop has a great taste, cooked perfectly in texture but has a strong seafood flavor.
The food takes a long time to cook and wait, plan for at least two hours. Come by earlier before the appointment time is recommended, at least 15.
Two people, we spent 255D, top included.
Service is nice and professional.
Dessert menu came after the course has done, and variable selection of wine.
Chocolate is okay.
Strawberry cake is highly recommended.“

Free karaoke on Saturday so the regulars were already there singing their favorite songs. Bartender and server was friendly, generous pupus to help downing the affordable shots. A place where all the regulars make you feel welcomed in the heart of Waipahu. 4 stars.“

“Great speakeasy hidden bar in Honolulu. During this visit wanted to find a couple of hidden bars. This one was fun and fit the bill as hard to find! Other reviewers have said where it is. I found finding the phone number to make a reservation a challenge! Once connected they texted the reservation link. Once confirmed they texted the instructions. For us we entered through a vending machine. (Based on other reviews I assume they change the “front” of the door occasionally. Cocktails were excellent!“

“Habitant is a stylish, casual bar and lounge located inside select Nordstrom department stores, typically on the second floor near the men's or women's clothing sections. It serves handcrafted cocktails, wine, beer, and light bites, such as maple bacon deviled eggs, providing a relaxing, centrally located stop during shopping trips.

To my knowledge, Habitat at Nordstrom is only found in Honolulu, Downtown Seattle, and Chicago. Why can't Phoenix be on that list because this place seems delightful. All we have are coffee shops inside out Nordstroms.

I have seen my Cycle Buddy, Randy S. check in here plenty of times. When he recommended grabbing a drink here while I was in town, I jumped on the invite... and then I stole his drink. Cynar 70 on a rock. Ooh lah lah. I also stole all the chocolate mints.

They specialize in highballs, and the current menu is a full-on Chinatown tribute—local ingredients, bold flavors, no shortcuts. Everything about this place hits. Smooth vinyl spinning 😎, a space that actually feels intentional instead of thrown together… you can tell the owner cares about the experience, not just the drinks.

I had three cocktails—all of them balanced, creative, and dialed in.
The Mango Sticky Rice cocktail? Different level 🥰 I had it twice… so yeah, technically four drinks.

“This outdoor bar is fantastic. The Mai Tai's are fantastic and not to be missed. They open at 11am and serve until 10pm. There is live music most evenings. There is walk up service at the bar or take a seat at one of the umbrella covered tables for table service. Winnie is a fantastic server and has worked there over twenty years. “Used to be a pool hall bar back in the day called Amy's Place. What an interior transformation! Cool to have a vintage tavern in the throngs of Honolulu! We went for Sunday Brunch...the menu is extensive. We are picky eaters. It is rare we had so many items we liked on the menu. We had the lamb sandwich and the crab cake benedict. Both were delicious. So were the roasted potatoes and French fries! We love to eat and have tried nearly every restaurant in the Chinatown/downtown neighborhood. There are few we return to. We will be back and soon. Attentive, personable, and just gets it. The kind of bartender who elevates the whole experience without trying too hard.

The vibe is relaxed, local-friendly, and low-key elevated—exactly the kind of spot you don’t want to gatekeep, but also kind of do.

If you’re in Ala Moana and want great cocktails with even better service, this is it.

“This is an amazing whiskey bar! Their collection of whiskey, bourbon, and scotch is unrivaled here. I have been several times and have always enjoyed it. My most recent visit left me a bit underwhelmed. I ordered the BLT. It was beautiful with a nice twist...a fried green tomato, but I took one bite all I could taste was mustard! Who puts mustard on a BLT? It was a shame, I ate 1/4 of it and took the rest home. At home I scraped the mustard off and added mayo...then it was banging!

The service was great as usual and the atmosphere lovely. All in all a solid choice...but beware the mustard!“
