Should’ve visit tropics more often when I was stationed back there but overall it was a great experience and took advantage what tropics had to offer. Meeting chingy was the best moment I had there and growing up to this music in elementary school was a blast ?“

“They have a lot of interesting Foods. I tried several and took them home and most everything was good but some things I had no idea what they were. But my son was with me and four of his children are Japanese American and they know what they are and so does he he spent probably 10 years in Japan. So it was a great experience. And I would highly recommend.“

“I arrived at 11 am and they were already sold out on all their food except for the beef stew, so I bought the beef stew with once scoop of rice and macaroni salad and green salad, which came to $11. The server was very nice in explaining about what she got left and she gave so much that I was barely able to finish and the food was very good. This is a definitely a hidden cheap eats gem in Waipahu.“

Bacon burger with all the fixings and also with the green chili Tabasco is mayjah and it scratches the itch every time. Really good as a medium rare burger. So juicy!! One of my favs!! Kudos!!“

“My recent visit to Teddy's Burgers was an exceptional experience! The food was absolutely delicious. I went with my family, and we were all impressed. My little ones ordered the grilled cheese, which was fantastic, and my wife had the Volcano Burger—it was so good, she finished it all! I enjoyed the Kilauea Burger, and it was nothing short of amazing. The flavors were incredible, and everything was cooked to perfection. “Decided to try here for lunch...try something different, plus I was hungry after grocery shopping. HI Steaks is located inside the Pearl City Foodland, so I found it to be very convenient. The kitchen can easily be seen from the counter and the kitchen looked organized and clean. I ended up ordering a Kalua Pork & Steak plate ($18.99) and substituted the rice for greens (+$1.99), also ordered a build your own bowl ($16.00), with Garlic Chicken. I was a bit bummed that they charged extra for substituting the rice with greens, but oh well. My order came quickly, only waited for a couple of minutes, and then I found an open table at the dining area adjacent to HI Steaks. The portion size of the plate & bowl was reasonable for the price. Steak was good, tender and cooked perfectly for me. Garlic chicken was seasoned well, not too overpowering. The sides were all good too. Overall I really enjoyed the food and would definitely come here again!“

“I sat at a table after a few minutes. If I had been okay with the counter I could have sat immediately. A nice, pleasant location. Had the Chicken Pot Pie with salad and grilled cornbread. Also had Coke Zero. Place was fairly busy but not overly so. Staff was moving to and fro but was reasonably attentive.
They still have the 7/8 AM to 3 PM restaurant hours depending on the day. Breakfast all day and they have a lunch menu. I was quite happy with my visit.“

“The yum chicken is the best chicken I've ever had in my life ! We come to Hawaii every year to visit family, and we are so glad that we came across Chicken and Brisket, it has become a staple for us to visit when we are on the island. the whole menu is amazing but the yum chicken is my personal favorite . Awesome, friendly staff and great environment. We will always eat there when we are in Hawaii. 🤙“

“The reception was not very receptive ??
For a while I didn't want to enter the place, I asked for a table for 3 people and it was difficult to find a table, I decided to sit at the counter, that way I could access the restaurant.
When I sat at the counter there were tables available.
But I always tend to point out the positives and I really liked the service at the counter by two bar women.
Wonderful food! And the starter they offer as a courtesy is very tasty.
It was worth the visit!“

“Love their Portuguese sausage. Pancakes were fluffy and fresh. The bacon was cooked just how I like it, not too crispy. Portion is big. Priced very well too! Parking can be a little tight. There’s street parking nearby. Service was quick and friendly.“

“My Friend and I ordered corn beef hash. DA Bes in town. Friend wanted his eggs soft scrambled. Our waitress, Rhea, knew exactly how it's made as many establishments overcook them. She said she would inform the cook. They were served exactly as my friend, Bob, wanted. Great service even with a full house. We will become regulars for sure!!!!!“

“Excellent food and service. My wife and I were there for the Navy’s 248th Birthday Meal. The beef, mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese, corn, vegetables, and salad were delicious. Good crab legs though a bit salty. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere.“

“Simple reasonably priced fare that was so delicious! I had the vegetable omelette served with greens and rice with an added side of tasty Portuguese Sausage and my husband had the Punke- (eggs, meat choice and rice). The views of the covered balcony were worth the visit!

“The food is amazing and unique with a rotating daily special while also offering their main menu. Service is as fast as you can imagine, even on the busiest time. When you get your plate, you can sit down in a well maintained sitting area that has amazing views. It's definitely a great place to eat on the island. The entrance is inside NOAA.“

“Good local place, from my experience it's a little crowded on the weekends and some week night evenings. Overall not back, service can be slow when they are packed but that is the same for any place. Decent food, but there's better in the area.

I would say stop in for drinks, eat some place else.

If you are middle aged the aunties are here looking for action. Every time I go in there on the weekends there are lonely aunties dressed to impress.
