Their haulpia matcha is actually so good, my mom would get this place on the regular we love the food and drinks. Highly recommended!
Happy chefs is an awesome new establishment in Wahiawa that serves cool drinks. The drinks they serve are Vietnamese coffees, boba teas, different flavor matcha teas. We came just for a quick coffee and ordered the salted coffee. The menu is Vietnamese forward with lunch plates, pho, and banh mis. The prices are great as well. Will be coming back to try the food. I might add that the location on maps is off so it’s closer to the freeway on the corner of Ohai and Kamehemeha.
I love Banh mi sandwich’s, so since I’ve been here in Hawaii I always try to find a different place to try. By far this place has my vote and the price is decent.
Happy Chefs is a hidden gem in Wahiawa, consistently delicious. Many recommend the BBQ Pork Sandwich and Salted Coffee combo for $14, calling it amazing, yummy, and great value. The sandwich has really good, soft bread and tasty pork. The salted coffee is refreshing with a Vietnamese coffee taste and foam on top. Other enjoyed items include the Kona Mud Pie boba, with soft and chewy boba, the garlic shrimp plate, and spring rolls. The Matcha Latte is also mentioned. Food and drinks are always fresh, made to order, and described as ono with 10/10 flavor.
The owners are a friendly, sweet family who provide amazing, kind service, going above and beyond. The vibe is great, with a recently revamped counter. They are a local spot to support, with plans for new dishes like stir-fried noodles. Customers are addicted and highly recommend it, stating they will definitely be back.
