This is a charming location in converted old gas station. We each had a 24 oz smoothie (coconut, mango, and a couple of mixed combinations) to start while waiting for our food outside on a picnic bench. The food was one of the best we’ve had on the islands: Kahlua pork, Kalbi ribs, Teriyaki chicken, Furikake Ahi, squid luau, fresh caught fish, fish tacos, macaroni salad, tossed salad and coconut cake with pineapple for dessert. Highly recommended!
Delicious tender grilled chicken and fresh green salad.
Thank you, Ashley, for our teacher luncheon gift!
We all loved it!

The Smoking Boar and the Coconut is a hidden gem on the North Shore, offering a delightful dining experience. The open-air, covered dining room creates a great atmosphere, making it a must-visit for those exploring the area. The mixed BBQ plate and Loco Moco are standout dishes, while the unique drinks and smoothies add to the appeal.
The food is described as "shockingly good," with the breakfast pork tacos being "perfect," the açaí bowl "so fresh," the latte "amazing," and the burger "melted in our mouths." The fries are "the best," and the burger is "better than anywhere else in the US." The food is also beautifully presented, delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is described as "old North Shore" which is "super nice."
Customers have praised the incredible food, portions, and prices, with the Loco Moco being a particular highlight. The restaurant offers counter service, with the staff bringing the food to the table. While some customers felt the quality did not match the price, others found the experience to be excellent, with great value for money.
