A short Uber ride later we ended up in this little place with huge portions of different kinds of Poke. I got the SIGNATURE DOMOKASE (prepared menu by the chef) it’s 7 course! The wifey had the Galbi platter. Now I’m telling ya, we’ve eaten a fair amount of places on the east side. This sushi was thee most tastee and freshest I’ve ever had anywhere! (didn’t need sauces or spritzes) nor did it have it. High quality and top notch! Both our meals were memorable and full of flavor only a talented chef can pull off. The waiters made their own drinks, which was a first for me… they were on point, with attention to detail.

The location is a bit off the beaten path, it’s a restaurant within a golf course club house. If this place were located in the east side near Waikiki, you’d pay double. In short, it’s worth the trip, should we come back to the “big island” they will see us again.

Who knows if management reads these things, but if you do… bravo 👏, your staff were a joy to be around and I noticed on many occasion how they would help each other out, I love to see that!”

“So good! Driving up to the North Shore from the airport we wanted something local. Family owned. No frills just awesome chicken. So juicy. We all had sandwiches and the pulled chicken is more like chunks with some pulled. Not overly shredded. And not doused with sauce. Just a nice enhancement. We had the melts and they were delicious. The bread is crusty but soft inside. An easy bite. And my son loved his Cajun fries. Off street parking in the rear.”

Now home of the best craft cocktails on Oahu and complimented with well thought out, mouth watering bites. I went with a friend for the grand opening evening and I would never have guessed it was a grand opening. The staff was friendly, seemed very at ease the whole night and the bartender was knowledgeable about the menu. We tried 5 or so different small bites and a couple various cocktails each from the menu and EVERY SINGLE item was delicious and crafted so beautifully we almost didn't want to eat or drink them (almost! 😋) Well done, Podmore!!”
