“I stopped in here this last weekend for the first time while bar-hopping in East Village. It’s probably my favorite bar I’ve tried so far. This place has a really unique theme and the darker, gritty atmosphere was really fun! They even had someone spinning vinyl, which I thought was a really nice touch! The staff were all very prompt and friendly and took the time to chat with me and make me feel comfortable all the while being attentive to the rest of the patrons. I will definitely be coming back soon!“

“Sure, it's a strip mall bar that's pretty much a dive, but I love it. Staff is surprisingly attentive and polite for how busy it can get and I've never had much of an issue with the clientele. Love coming hear to watch Hawkeye, Cyclone or Cubs games. Insanely low prices also. One of my favorite bars in the city.“

“my daughter and I stumbled upon this neat place today. she has the classic burger with a side of fresh fruit and she loved it. “If you into dive bars, bar food, and great service check out Gerris. They are know for their wings so that is what I went with. One sauce option but it was good. Not too spicy, kind of like frank hot sauce with some butter mixed in. Wings were huge. Cheese balls were good. Food was fast and service was on point. One female working the entire room and she killed it. Drinks never got empty.“
