“My wife and I were in West Des Moines (for the first time) on a business trip this past weekend & stayed at the Days Inn that was closeby to this Starbucks. My client picked us up around 8:00 p.m. & insisted that we get drinks before talking business. We hit the drive-through just a few minutes later. What makes me remember this place is that after taking our order, the cashier told my client that she had her left blinker on. I thought the gesture very friendly & it has stuck in my head for some reason. Also, the green tea was delicious and lasted me several hours. Friendly Starbucks.“
“We used to avoid stopping here at this location when we lived nearby. Things changed! We were in town for a funeral and stopped here on our way out of town. This store has done a 180. We used to get the worst drinks from the most rude baristas here. Now, such a friendly environment and the drinks were perfect!“
“Well, the only reason this gets 5 stars is because my lady begged to stop here, and against my better judgment, I obliged. The real five-star comes when we walk into the shop, and there's an entire gaggle of blonde haired white women getting their mocca frapachinos. I've only seen this kind of heard on the nature documentaries about African Buffalos. To my glee and enjoyment, I had to snap a pic of my blondie, mingling with the others. Do you need your woman to feel safe? Then bring her here where she can freely roam and discuss other basic pressing issues plaguing the blonde woman society like, hair, nails, and not enough Carmel in the mocca late. Kinda like play dates for white women“
