“Very large space that can easily handle large dining party or drinks and appetizers office gathering! Friendly fast service even with large groups. Large portions of delicious food with numerous unique options you don't find at other places. Gluten-free guests have a large selection to choose from. Catch the game on one of the many large screens around the room. We made reservations ahead of time for our large group and they were very accommodating in how they sat us.“

“I am the type of person that loves positivity and giving great reviews. Give honor to where honor is due. And I give great reviews, call the managers and praise the service all the time. I have also had my share of terrible service and/or food and usually do not say a word. The experience I had this afternoon at Culvers in Ankeny was horrendous. The food that is. The drive through guy that took my order, payment and delivery was so kind and helpful. I ordered a cod dinner and was only able to eat some of the fish. The 2 sides I ordered were cheese curds and fries. Both were so cold, hard and dry. I was so disappointed. The roll that came with it was cold, hard and dry as well. The butter was good! I did eat most of the fish but it too was tough. WHAT has happened to Culvers? Don't they realize that they are not the only option for food? Sad to say but I will be going to those other options for my meals in the future. The concrete I ordered was sloppy (down side of cup) and melting but did taste good. I HATE leaving a poor review but come on Culvers. Do better. Be better. If it had been just 1 food this review would never have been written. Oh, side note. This was after the lunch rush and before dinner rush. It was close to 2. Got right into drive through with no waiting. Disappointed.“

They used to have a burger I liked that wasn’t on the menu, but our server Levi knew what we were talking about and told the kitchen. The best service we’ve seen for a long while.“

“Probably my favorite place to go in Ankeny. Great food, and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. super affordable drinks and the staff has always been awesome.“

“We stopped in for the first time Tuesday night. It was not too busy. We had a dog with us and they were very cool about her being there. We sat outside on the ground level patio. Not very noisy and a nice atmosphere.

Our server was super helpful with all of our questions, especially regarding gluten-free options. Quick to bring out our drinks, appetizer, and meals.

The nacho appetizer was very good and to big for the 2 of us to finish 😉 We wanted to leave room for the main course!
My smash burger was yummy and so was the coleslaw.

“This is a great place to go if you like watching sports. The crowds can be lively and enthusiastic when watching the games, but thankfully not unruly or out of control. The menu has a variety of good burger, pizza, and appetizer options. Our server was polite.“

He accidentally double charged us and the girl took it upon herself to get the approval from management to get it deducted and get us going to keep the line moving!!! Very impressed!! “We were in for lunch yesterday, my grandson wasn't feeling well. Our waitress refused to wait on us. She must have gotten the manager, he was a real trooper, took our order and delivered our food. I thought it was unprofessional of her. But we were suppose to get salad, he even said he forgot the salad and never brought it. Never again!!!“

“Every time I go here with my niece and nephew, we always leave with a smile on our face. The food is so good. The atmosphere is amazing quite loud sometimes but it’s a public establishment. I’m not picky. They’ve always gotten my order right and it’s tasty.

Parking: Plenty of spots for its location.

Kid-friendliness: Every time I take my niece and nephew here they have a blast, and the staff is so kind to them.

Wheelchair accessibility: All wheelchair handicap spots are directly in front of the building so easy access.“

“The atmosphere was very laid back, the food was really good we got buffalo egg rolls, spinach artichoke dip for appetizers I got the Philly cheesesteak and fries and friend got the Nutty Buddy Burger with Cole slaw we really enjoyed both appetizers and our meals. Service was quick and I appreciated how nice our server was also I assume the manager or lead but she kept coming over to make sure we were satisfied and that our food was tasting good! Definitely recommend! The food was a little pricey are tab came to 66$ with no alcoholic beverages but really good!“
