“This bar is great for a small town bar. Drinks are VERY affordable. I ordered a double BV and coke; only cost me $4. The bar isn't tiny so it doesn't feel overcrowded. They have lots of televisions for watching games. They have a couple dart boards and one pool table. The pool table is well taken care of and seemed level. They dont have an ATM in the bar but do have one accross the street. However, you can run a tab if you'd like. I enjoyed my experience at this bar and will be back in the future when I visit Lake View, IA.“

“The hotel room was nice, clean and comfortable. The free breakfast, however was nothing to write home about. I would stay again but eat elsewhere. Enjoyed the attached Baratta’s Steakhouse very much. I would recommend asking for a room on the back side since they have sliding doors so you can easily park and get to your car from your room. Nice place to have an event and the staff were nice.“

“Awesome experience! We drove out of Carroll to find food after RAGBRAI and ended up at The Shop. We had the place to ourselves and the service and food was top notch. We got the sweet, salty and spicy pizza and the Hawaiian 16” to keep for leftovers, and garlic cheese bread. So happy we did! Definitely worth checking out in the area!“
