“Wow! Fantastic food, people and a awesome atmosphere. That's hard to get all 3 but Judy has done it. We were hot and tired. Judy herself whistled at us to come in and rest a spell on our quest West. The Ruben and the Judy's barge burger were out of this world good. Thank you for the renewal of hope. Y'all were amazing. So, if you are hiking on the American Discovery Trail or just happen to be near. Don't miss this great restaurant.“

“I had a pleasant visit to this cozy bar located at the bottom of the hill as you enter downtown. The morning crowd was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I decided to try the open-faced roast beef, also known as Hot Beef, which turned out to be quite tasty.“

“Every now and then I have friends I'll visit in West Davenport. After work one day I was planning to meet with a few of them but unfortunately our plans fell through on my way driving to the place we were meeting. Since I was already nearly in the area, I decided to impulsively stop at Probstei. It had been recommended on the Quad Cities Subreddit, so I was eager to try them anyways. This place is decidedly not the normal sort of venue I frequent. There's a large sign of sorts on the building exterior proclaiming "welcome bikers". To clarify, I am not a biker, nor does my general appearance reflect any sort of associated stereotype for someone who chooses to ride a motorcycle. The interior is fairly small. There's a bar that runs the length of most of the space, a single pool table, and a few other tables. The floor is a combination of wood laminate and pretty old looking carpet, while the overhead consists of primarily plain drop ceiling. Lighting is low - a combination of a few accent strips and the various neon beer signs in the interior. It's quiet and easy on the eyes - I liked it.I opted for the patty melt on the menu with a side of fries. Both were alright. The only thing I was a little bummed about was the bread - it was advertised as rye, but ended up being white bread. Still, it was greasy and delicious.Of further note is the eclectic patio area around the side of the building. There's a variety of seating, including a few picnic tables, individual chairs, and even benches of the size children would likely use. It looks like a nice place to hang out during the warmer months. This is well away from home for me, so I probably won't be back. If you're in the area and need a quiet place to crash and enjoy a greasy bar meal, this might be for you. Thanks, Probstei.Vegetarian options: Consult with the server/bartender what might be vegetarian on the menu.Kid-friendliness: This probably isn't the best place to sit down for a family meal.aybe in the summer months if you want to sit outside.Parking: For the size of the venue there's plenty of free parking around the buildingWheelchair accessibility: The front entrance is wheelchair accessible.Dietary restrictions: Recommend consulting with the server/bartender about your particular dietary needs.“

“It's a small bar. I always order ham and cheese Arabic bread sandwich. It's exquisite. They have decorated the walls of the place with a leaf design. Beautiful. Now it is called CUNCHIS, because whoever painted the G defined it that way...hahaha. . RECOMMENDED.“

“First time I tried Filipino food and it was very good. Only reason I gave food a 4 is because I wanted more limpia ?? I didn't know they were that small. My Pancit lasted me 2 days. I wish I could've ordered a margarita to go with my meal because I didn't want pop. Definitely going back to try something else ?“

“Really great bar and grill. The food is really good but I didn't think anything was so much better than any other bar and grill in the area. A very solid choice for people who live in the QC and are willing to travel a little bit. Worth it for sure.“
