“The atmosphere and drinks are top notch. I can't say the same for service. Apparently it is acceptable to not ask if our group would like anything else AND for the tab to be tossed on our table while walking by? Yes, I am still that person that tips at least 20% because I understand we all have "off" days but that is no excuse. It would have been 100% if the service was there.“

“I am an activity director for a local memory care, and to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, we tried Finn's Pub. They were MORE THAN accomodating! We visited on a Thursday afternoon, and that coming Saturday and Sunday, the owners were making Corned Beef and Cabbage. When they knew we were coming, they whipped up a special batch just for us! It was so kind! The residents loved the drinks, the food, and the atmosphere. Thank you so much for hosting us!“

“Went over the weekend as it was super hot out and the drink flight slushees hit the spot! A bit sugary but def recommend for the sweet tooth fans. The Strawberry Banana was really yummy! The only complaint was sat a drink down to play a game and when went back to get it a server had taken it away. Other than that a very fun time!“

“It was very pleasant to eat in this restaurant, for a moment it teleported me to my longed-for Peru, I have hardly been able to find a good lomo saltado and here I found it, without leaving behind the Peruvian cause that was there ??, authentic Peruvian seasoning, and a great deal Its very friendly staff would repeat...I recommend it.“

“Delicious! Sushi and sashimi we have had has always been fresh! No kids menu but they had helpful suggestions! My kids eat sushi and sashimi so I didn’t have any problems! Sesame chicken is also delicious! Pad Thai is good! I love the Korean fried chicken “starter”… so good and the sauce is on point!!! 🤙🏽“

“Our first time here and certainly won’t be the last. The atmosphere is perfect. Upscale menu with an approachable feel. Decor matches the menu perfectly. Danielle, the GM, gave us the perfect welcome. I wish I remembered our server’s name, as she was delightful and incredibly helpful. The Wisconsin old fashioned was recommended to us — and for good reason. They also had a few Athletic n/a beers, which is always appreciated. We started with the cheese curds and a half dozen charbroiled oysters. Wow, both were incredible. My husband had the pork shank with au gratin mushrooms per our server’s recommendation. Both were great, but he couldn’t get over how perfectly prepared the pork was. I was between a few choices and settled on the lobster roll. It was warm and buttery — truly melt in your mouth perfection. The salt and vinegar fries were a great side, though I was too full to put a dent in them. Our server showed us the dessert menu, and boy, I wish we had room. The pull tabs were such a fun addition to the experience. We can’t wait to return.“

“My husband and I wanted to try a new breakfast place. We heard about Breakfast Club and decided to try the West Des Moines location. Parking was convenient. We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. Fun atmosphere, great food and coffee selection! Our waitress Maddie gave us tips on the menu and was very friendly and attentive. We definitely want to go back and try something else off the menu! We plan to make this place our go to!!“

Our friends took us here several years ago and we really enjoyed the experience...finally getting the chance to return and found it just as impressive.
We started with drinks, including a Bloody Mary with Mezcal (see picture) and an After Midnight - both quite tasty. We then ordered Collective Wings (see picture) as an appetizer and found them so delicious that we were tempted to order more of them for our meal.
For our dinner, my wife ordered the Cubano (see picture) and I opted for the Squash Risotto (see picture). As we always do, we shared tastes of each both of us thought that both meals were good enough to order again and recommend.
A great place to eat towards the north end of the Valley Junction 'Strip' with an amazing atmosphere and fantastic service.

“Fairly new Chicago Bears themed sports bar in Waukee. We dined in on a Saturday and enjoyed their all-day specials. The food was delicious and a great price! It's hard to find good specials on the weekend. Service was perfect, met all our needs. Building is set off from the road, located on the end of a strip of businesses, so it has a shared parking lot.“

“This is easily my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Urbandale area. The food is always delicious and arrives quickly, and the drinks are very tasty as well. I usually get the chori-pollo and highly recommend it!
The staff is very friendly and helpful, and their new location is very nice. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, and you can tell they take pride in their restaurant.
If you're looking for good Mexican food, you can't go wrong with El Patrón!
Dietary restrictions: They offer corn tortillas in addition to flour, which is nice for gluten sensitivities.“

“Mexican food is my favorite, but the atmosphere and decor, as well as the service, bring it to an entirely different level! We started outside, but it sprinkled a little and before we hardly knew it, our sweet server had moved us and our food inside, but still near the outside. She was amazing, as was her attentive service. The drinks were delicious and beautiful. The food was great with huge portions. But the atmosphere—just takes Mexican to A WHOLE DIFFERENT LEVEL! Thanks!“

“Courtney was our bartender tonight and she is AMAZING! Huge selection of drinks and each one is better than the next. Service is friendly and the patio is warm and welcoming. They don’t sell cigars anymore but they are walking distance to a smoke shop and you can smoke on the patio. The butterscotch martini is SO GOOD. if you have an opportunity to stop by for a drink from Courtney you absolutely need to.“
