I had never tried Popeyes until a few months ago in Canada. I loved their popcorn shrimp. So when I moved back to Davenport, I made it a habit to get the popcorn shrimp at least once a week. I have never eaten shrimp sauce with fried shrimp, and instead requested either tartar sauce or mayonnaise, this has been going on several months and at times I have very accommodating service at other times not so much. Poor management for one thing. no Sweet Tea and no beans and rice and half the time they don't have chicken. l don't feel sorry for them at all if they have to close.
You have to have good leadership and good management and Davenport store does not have that. Plus no one wants to work and the customers are not going there if they don't have what people want. lts sad.
I paid for the food they planned on taking to the garbage.! there's no way this should have been bag for sale. I got ripped off big time about 35 bucks for dry chicken 12 pice 2 wings 2 breast 4 legs and four backs.burnt and dry. the rice floating in bean soup. the 2 spoon of potatoes floating around gravy. never have I've gone to a Popeyes and got any trash like this what ever you do don't go to this one .you would do better off a the gas station.
