I typically stop here on my way down to visiting Dubuque from the Twin Cities. It's quick, the food is good, and I sometimes see an old Decorah pal (this has only happened once). 5 stars from me!
Only one guy was working. He was overwhelmed during a rush. The food was fine and his service was a good as you can expect with 6 customers in line. We were glad we had a coupon the price of their new subs is very pricey for fast food.

So inconsistent, always overpriced. For what it is (how simple the options are etc) I don't think they can afford to miss as often as they do. I guess maybe depending on who they have working- the ingredients are either super fresh and everything's well made and combined or it's basically inedible. It's a pricey gamble either way.
