Cookie ice cream sandwich was yummy. Root beer float was made with local root beer. They were more than happy to give my dog a pup cup :)

A friend and I came in to Molly's Frozen for the first time tonight. Such fun staff! We sampled several flavors of their ice cream, and thankfully the staff didn't get tired of giving us samples because it was hard to choose! We finally decided to get two pints of vanilla and then went over to Molly's Cupcakes to pick out some delicious cupcakes to go with our ice cream! Great shop! Highly recommend them!

Molly's Frozen in downtown Des Moines is a cute and lovely spot near the east village. The ice creams are impressively delicious with a variety of funky and classic flavors. The shop is family-friendly with plenty of seating and fun games. The menu is simple and straightforward, offering a great variety without being overwhelming. The strawberry lemonade sorbet and Cake Batter ice cream are highly recommended, and the ice cream sandwiches with your choice of cookie and ice cream are a hit with kids. The staff is friendly and personable, providing good customer service. While the shop is small with limited seating, the inviting family environment and amazing treats make it a favorite for many in Des Moines.
