I just had a nice visit. They were friendly on the drive through. He was friendly at the window. Explained that my sandwich would be a few extra minutes because it was being cooked fresh and asked me to pull ahead. Brought out the food a few minutes later and all was good. Kudos to the guy running drive through. I know we all hear about the screw ups but I'd like the acknowledge the nice job.
I picked up a Whopper and fries in the drive-through on JFK, in Dubuque. The fries had so much salt on them that you couldn't eat them. The young cashier was tweaking. Her pupils were pinprick, and she asked me to pay again, right after I paid her. Scary stuff to see. I won't be going back.
We t to drive thru, they shorted me two orders of fries, went into the counter and told them, the girl gave me a bag, I asked are there two orders of fries in there, she said yes, walked back to the car and there was was only one. Had to make another trip back to the counter. Guess I should have held everybody up in the drive thru until I checked!
