Grinnell is fortunate to have this location because the service and food are always excellent! Restaurant is always clean and buffet is always well-stocked and fresh.
I have been to this pizza ranch a few times at different times of day and same story every time either no pizza on the buffet or old food that photo is at 12:30 pm the first photo was from just so y'all know the food was good the staff are great

Parents… game machines are right at entrance. They are $1 each play. They accept $1, $5 and change I believe. Just prepare your kids for whatever you plan to let them do or not do. Just a heads up… stay strong 💪
Ice cream machine was working, FYI. They asked us what pizzas we wanted when we arrived and brought them out to us to get the first slices before they put them on the buffet. Bathroom was nice. Staff were nice. They came and cleared our table part way through our stay. They brought out fresh food to the buffet multiple times throughout our visit.
I did find a spoon that felt dirty. I just left it on our table to be cleaned again when it got cleared. High chairs look a little dirty. If I’m being picky, the restaurant looked like it could use some deep cleaning but it was okay.

Good food and it was fresh salad hot chicken, potatoes, etc they asked if there was a pizza we wanted that was not out then made it and had it ready right away.
This place has really gone downhill in quality. Food and service. Buffet food always seems old and dry. They skimp on pizza toppings and don't bother requesting a pizza, you'll probably be done eating before it comes out. Never seem to be able to find an employee but you can sure hear them in the back.
