“Luckynpenny is a convenient nice place to meet friends after work. The high booths are appreciated so that you don't have to share the other diners conversation. The food was mid level good, and my grilled chicken cesear salad was well made and fresh while not being outstanding. I was happy enough with it.A bite of a friend's veggie pizza with garlic oil found it to be very good with a desirable crisp thin crust. The wait staff were good without being overly friendly. When our checks arrived, my drink had been erroneously added to someone else's check at my table.Clean, with monster sized televisions, all playing something different.“

The staff seemed to lack enthusiasm and experience. It would be beneficial for the management to step up and address this issue.Additionally, the spiciness of the food was not as per our expectations, even though we ordered it less spicy and mild. The biryani was overly spicy. Despite these issues, we are willing to give the restaurant another try and hope to see improvements based on these suggestions. We appreciate the effort and are glad to have this restaurant in the area.“

“WOW. We had such a great experience at Lacayo. First, THIS IS NOT ANOTHER MEXICAN RESTAURANT. This is Latin American cuisine and it’s one of the best places in Cedar Rapids. Everything is so flavorful, it’s all made in house (even the tortillas), and the service is wonderful. We had a meal with friends and enjoyed it so much, we went back for brunch the next day. Looking for a brunch spot that doesn’t just offer the same standard breakfast items but packs tons of flavor? This is your place. You have to get the tamale. The sauce is out of this world. Will be returning and bringing friends and family to share in the experience. This place is a must if you’re going to be dining out in Cedar Rapids.“

“We ate there yesterday. There was an older woman with short hair who didn’t smile once the whole time we were in there. There was a younger girl behind the counter the same way. There was blonde girl who was phenomenal at serving the customers. The food was okay. I was just not happy with the vibe those two women were giving off.“

“Went to Lucky's for breakfast with my family. I had the Villa with their French toast special (red velvet with a sweet cream cheese filling). The French toast was so delicious I didn't need syrup with it, my over easy eggs were perfect, the sausage links are huge and we got four to an order. My son had the mini waffles and they are decent price and excellent quality. We topped it off with coffee that our server Mika kept full and checked on us often. We will definitely have to go back and try other things on the breakfast menu.“

A fairly typical Midwestern “corner bar with food” however the food was excellent and a wide choice of tap beers with a nice Happy Hour option. Recommend!! (Kind of a hidden gem, with great service too.) We had wings and onion rings, and the daily special BBQ pulled pork and sweet potato fries.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp in the back. “I don't live in Marion any longer, but I was in the area and treated myself to a late dinner at Zio Johno's. Grace was my server, and was prompt with my my ice tea and meal. There was no waiting (weeknight). The fresh hot garlic bread was amazing and fluffy. And the lasagna was delicious. Everything is always a treat to your palate here.“

“TIP: Get the Samosas for an appetizer. SO GOOD! We love to visits to Taste of India. It is a regular request for my wife's birthday meals, etc. Our last visit ahead of Christmas was great. The staff were so attentive and pleasant. We must have encountered four different workers who each seemed free to be themselves and brought great interaction to the table. We haven't been able to come back in a while and we were so stoked that it seemed even better than usual. The food was it's usual best. We love getting a Naan Basket and sharing entrees like the Butter Chicken and Kadai Chicken. Be aware that they are pretty accurate with their spice levels. You may want to start at Mild, just to get acquainted!“

“I first experienced this beer at a bottle share, and I have to say I was impressed. Visiting home base was nothing short of an amazing experience.First the bartender, super nice and knowledgeable about the beer, food, and brewery. The beer was good, and varied, I hear clock house is known for their hazies, and don't get me wrong witch slap was good, but I found myself drawn to their variety of different beer flavored beer. The stout has great flavor and wasn't going to get you hammered, the smoked pills was smoky but not too smoky and I absolutely adore the black IPA. Highly recommend you check this place out, but act fast because I don't think the beers I mentioned will all be around too long, replaced by something equally delicious I imagine.Oh and the food was also kind of out of this world too, check out the south Carolina BBQ wings and the crab ragoon dip whole supplies last!“

“This is easily the best coffee/cafe here in Iowa. The food is always fresh and amazing. The lattes are consistently great. No burned shots. They make their vanilla and caramel for the lattes IN HOUSE. Don't pass up the vanilla latte! It's run by the sweetest family who are always positive as are their baristas. They'll take the time to explain anything about the menu, you never feel rushed. Please visit this shop and see for yourself. I'm picky and they have always accommodated. “Found this little gem while passing through Cedar Rapids. Located inside NewBo City Market the competition is stiff with several other small business food vendors. I wouldn't hesitate to choose this spot again. I couldn't decide on which rice bowl to get so I got two small ones. The No Coast and the Chana Masala. The owner insisted the No Coast was a fan favorite but after having both I think people are missing out on the Chana Masala. Both were equally delicious but the complex flavors of the Chana put it on top for me. Get both chutneys and don't be afraid of the jalapeño spice. I also tried the Spring rolls loaded with carrots, purple cabbage and micro greens with a yummy peanut dipping peanut sauce that really makes the roll. The owner is super friendly and there's something about seeing micro greens growing in the space that makes you feel good.“

“My favorite food is the Floritos!!! I love the Floritos they make for me, you must try them. It is a warm friendly restaurant where you start to know them and they know you too.
