“As an Uber Eats driver I can recall plenty of times that i have been met with unhappy and unhelpful employees, understandably, but Kaylee was quite the opposite. I came in today super stressed due to money issues and i was immediately met with a positive and cheerful smile which boosted my spirits in spite of the dreadful day ive had. She even gave me a water as well as an accurate time estimate of how long the food was going to take to make. To be honest, i wouldve never considered coming here if not for her attitude and spirit but now I am!

“You can’t find a brazilian lemonade or a spanish latte anywhere else in all of Iowa city/Coralville/North Liberty, I crave it like no other. The crepes are so delicious, my friend and I always split them! In the attached picture we split a banana demure and a berry blush 🤤 And the workers are so nice, especially the curly haired one she always has a smile on her face. I love their seasonal drinks too, I attached a picture of their smores latte. I like to get the melted magic flatbread and add a bit zaatar on top it’s so good….”

“I'm gluten intolerant so I ordered the tomato bisque rather than the chips with my sandwich. The waiter heard me tell my friend why I was ordering the soup and checked to make sure I would be able to eat both the sandwich and the soup. He went above and beyond to cater to my needs. Our lunch was good and his entire demeanor and attitude were very pleasant. Worth stopping here since we were only in town for a doctor's visit at the hospital.”

“Whenever i go to Iowa City everyone recommends eating at Basta and I can now say I have hopped on the band wagon. The food is delicious and prices are fair for the portion sizes. The ambience of the restaurant is amazing! It is classy and upscale but still has a friendly and welcoming vibe. The staff is also amazing, Mackenzie ensured that my husband and I had a great experience for our anniversary dinner. We will definitely be visiting again our next time in Iowa City!”
