We had our wedding and reception at Summerset Winery. They were very easy and flexible to work with through the process. Haley the Evert Coordinator did an outstanding job of planning and organizing our wedding. She was very communicative with us and our vendors. This allowed us to relax and enjoy our special day.
Summerset Winery was an absolutely AMAZING place to have a wedding. My wife and I got married there and it was an incredible venue. Hayley, the event coordinator, was an absolute dream to work with and she saved the day multiple times during the ceremony and reception. She was very on top of everything during the rehearsal and day of and we knew we could always rely on her to get anything we needed done. Loved these wines. The staff were very friendly and clearly enjoyed their jobs. Loved discussing the history of the winery and wines with them. The wines run slightly on the sweeter side, but the dry wines were in fact dry (and yummy). Loved the atmosphere too- options for being inside and outside (on a deck overlooking vineyards). They do have light fare food options though I didn't try any of it. Love that their grapes are all estate grown. And it's the oldest winery in Iowa!
