“Ate here for the first time before attending an Iowa basketball game nearby. There were good choices on the menu. I had the spicey Italian meatball grinder with fries. It was good and very filling. Prices seemed reasonable. The place was noisy so it was hard to socialize with my friends. Otherwise, a good place to eat and would go there again if in town.“

“Seriously great. Some of the best pizza in Iowa City. The staff is so friendly and accommodating — the menu and vibe can be a little confusing on your first time but they take great care of you! The chicken lips were great as well, I’m so glad I tried them despite the name being a bit off-putting 😉 Can be a little pricey for college students, but I feel it’s worth it.“

“The pizza was delicious! Generous toppings, great flavor crust and sauce, although the crust was a little tough. The small indoor seating area is just a courtesy as carryout is their main business, but it was a lovely afternoon, so we sat at their little outdoor seating area. Very friendly, speed-o-light service too.

“I came in today. I ordered a burger. it was the tap tap to be exact. I wanted to add bacon on it but there wasn't an option for the bartender to add that when she placed my order. Instead, she went back to the kitchen to check with the cooks to see if it could be an option and they made it happen. such a great way of going above and beyond.“

“We hadn’t seen our son for a while and are here for his wedding Saturday, and came here for dinner. \nIt was very crowded for a Thursday night but he got reservations.\n\nWe started with two delicious appetizers, burrata cheese with sliced toasted bread and calamari (a picture of the mostly eaten calamari is attached- I wasn’t even that fast to get a picture of the burrata.\n\nOur son and I had the fiver scallop special that was a little spicy but very good (picture attached).\nMy wife had a large farro salad with a large piece of salmon filet on top ( picture also attached).\n\nWe shared a tiramisu for dessert (picture inserted below) delicious also.\n\nThe one main shortcoming was how loud it was, I couldn’t hear any of the conversation.\n\nBeza and a couple others did a very nice job helping us, the service was excellent“

Prompt, engaging service and a pleasant setting. Not a problem getting a table even though they did not have my confirmed Open Table reservation. “In town for a wedding, stopped to try as we never been. Solid place to eat. Staff was great, helpful and kept the place clean. Food was solid, chicken was juicy, good cheese on the pizza bread was solid.
