“Huge shout out to Wasabi Johnston! My daughter wanted to go there for sushi for her bday dinner last night. I called ahead and asked if we could bring in a cake, etc... they were MORE than accommodating. They said whatever we needed! They kept it a secret until we finished our dinner. Brought out the cake, lit the candles, provided extra plates, a knife to cut it and were SO kind. Thank you guys all SO much! My daughter was thrilled (and embarrassed). Excellent dinner too!“

“Stopped by for dinner with a friend Saturday night and had another fantastic experience and meal!

There was plenty of close open parking, we had a prompt, warm welcome and we felt the staff appreciated our visit from the first moment!

We had our choice of a booth or table, which I always love, and we were sat immediately and greeted shortly after by our very kind and attentive server.

Our drinks arrived within a minute or two and we were so excited to order the pot stickers that I forgot to take photos of them before they were practically inhaled! This appetizer showed up hot and delicious as always and the sauce that comes with them is my favorite in town!

Our meals also came out hot, delicious, as ordered and very promptly! I I would estimate we had them within 8-10 minutes and they were also plated beautifully! I had the orange chicken and I would recommend it to anyone!

“Teriyaki Madness is a fast food restaurant specializing in teriyaki dishes, preparing all orders fresh rather than in advance. I used to go to a place like this years ago in Nashville and always wished we had one in the Des Moines Metro.

The restaurant is ideal for individuals who are running errands, grabbing a bite on their own or have limited time. There is a small seating area, so I would not recommend this place for a large group. Takeout is available, but I recommend you order ahead, given that all meals are made to order and may require a wait.

The bowls provide a well-balanced meal of protein, carbs and veggies. The menu, though focused on teriyaki, has a notable range of choices. You select from different protein options and pick either white rice, brown rice, or noodles, and you have an option to add stir-fried veggies. Appetizers include egg rolls, edamame, potstickers, and, my favorite, crab rangoons. Best of all - the food was amazing. My only complaint is the ice tea is not freshly brewed.

Customer service is attentive and staff maintain a friendly demeanor. Additionally, the restaurant utilizes durable plastic containers for takeout, which are suitable for reheating, dishwasher use, and repeated use.

“My daughter and i love this place before i moved out the town i was in back to the metro i was driving over an hour total just to get this place i have been going here for about 10 years and the quality of the food has stayed pretty consistently good over all this time their prices really aren't bad either like anything its gone up a bit but that being said it really doesn't cost more than eating fast food these days but is way better! The staff are honestly very friendly and the service is pretty quick! I would recommend checking it out!“

“We don't usually eat at chain restaurants, but PF Chang's is a great place to go if you need gluten free food (or non- gluten free, too!) in a nice atmosphere with good service! They are very careful about bringing your food separately on a different colored plate, so our family of Celiacs feel good about eating here! Fun drinks or mocktails, too. Servers have always been friendly & helpful. If you want to sit at the bar & watch a game, they'll change the channels for you to the game you want to see.“

“Absolutely the best Asian food in all of Des Moines. Not only is the restaurant super clean, but the staff is excellent. The owners are always there putting in hard work and you can tell they just genuinely love to feed people. The portions are great. The wait time is generally a bit longer but that's because everything is prepared fresh to order. Nothing is made a head of time. I eat here as often as I can and I drive all the way from West Des Moines to do it. I really like the Phò, the Egg rolls and crab Rangoon are phenomenal! I sometimes order the Empress Chicken which is always great! Everything they make is terrific! The outside and location can fool you. I got the chicken and shrimp teriyaki and I got him the beef teriyaki with crab Rangoons. It was all perfectly cooked and so good. He was very happy they had a diet Dr Pepper too.“
