“There ain’t much not to like about The Bright Spot. It felt like family from the moment I walked in the door. A place where my grandpa and grandma would have gone Nothing right fancy but the bar made me feel like I was back in the 40’s. The onion rings had a nice light batter that worked well with the onion rings. Cheryl had the fish sandwich that looked mighty fine while I had myself a perfectly prepared BLT with a perfect Amy of bacon and tomato. It went down perfect with my PBR and Cheryl said her Leini was right good.“

“We fell in love with Red Barn Campground three years ago when we came up to stay while running the Driftless 5K. We have been back every year since then. The sites are clean and right on a trout stream. The bar has great food and cold drinks and the owners are so nice and make you feel so welcome. Same goes for the hard working staff. They were hopping on a Friday night game night. The bartenders cranked out the drinks and the two cooks in the back worked their butts off cranking out the food as well. We enjoy coming up to the bar to watch the Hawkeye games as usually the crowd gets into it and it's just a fun time. I would highly recommend Red Barn Campground!“
