“I've been here plenty of times and have never been disappointed. If you are looking for a nice country drive, good food and good drinks, this is the place.”
“Had ice-cream and it was awesome. They had a flavor of like the candy bar-Twin Bing... If you like that, you will like the flavor combination they put together!Great service and answered all our questions! Fair Pricing for what you get!”
“Stopped on our way home from Omaha tonight and will definitely be back! The food and drinks were great! It's hard to find good mixed drinks east of Omaha but Good Fellows has a great drink menu at reasonable prices. The dinner & lunch menus have a great selection, there should be something to make everyone happy with sandwiches, steaks, chicken, pizza, Mexican, and Asian selections. Many of the menu items look like they could be easily gluten free. The Prime Rib was delicious with a yummy Au jus that had just the right level of flavor and saltiness. I selected the soup starter which was tomato basil, this soup was so good, it reminded me of soup I've had at fancy places in Chicago- so good! Oh, I almost forgot about the deserts, they had a special Raspberry pie with homemade vanilla ice cream tonight but we opted for the strawberry cheesecake. The strawberry syrup tasted fresh and flavorful on top of yummy cheesecake. This hidden treasure is tucked away on Main Street and has a great atmosphere with great service. I'm already looking forward to coming back”
“About a one mile walk from the City Park campground. This shop is lovely. Tables, couches, and high tops provide seating to suit everyone. They have a well-stocked library here, too. Huge variety of drinks are available, along with some pastries and burritos. My plain latte was delicious. Highly recommend.”
“Definitely worth stopping here to eat. Welcoming environment with staff that were very gracious. The food was excellent and my sandwich was one of the best I've ever eaten.”
“We loved La Choza Los Lara's. The food was very good. Service was excellent. We had the best time. It's two hours from home, but we'll be back.”
“Favorite Hangout... back in the 70's! Went to HS in Missouri Valley and had a horribly made fake ID, which was used regularly at Papa Joes. The owner, Dean Dewaele, founded it in the early 70's? Just looked him up and unfortunately he passed away in 2012. Back then, Papa Joe's had live bands when Led Zeppelin, The Who, BTO, Black Sabbath, Chicago, Yes, and many more ruled. Smoke filled stage, lots of long hair, and Levis jean jackets. It was quite the happening place 50 years ago, and I'm happy it's still going strong today.”
“Amazing choice of delicious Mexican pastries! Very professional and the employees are very generous! Highly recommend this place if you're passing through Missouri Valley!”
“Campo has been a staple in our household since we moved to Mo Valley. Tonight, I wanted to give them a huge shout out for filling my custom order of no oil on my fajitas. It is so nice to know that they will do this for their patrons, and it was so delicious! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!”
“Another gem in Woodbine! Classic style diner with a line out the door over lunch on a Saturday. Everything seemed expensive when I saw the prices, but then I saw how BIG everything was and it made sense! The burger was delicious with two HUGE (see picture) patties, melty cheese, and toppings. My ice cream was also very big, and was actually full of my favorite candy mix-in! Too often the ice cream shop skimps out on the good stuff, but this Twister was full throughout!Another awesome stop in Woodbine. Highly recommend!”
“What a friendly staff! Watched a young lady named Annie on her break eating next to us, she noticed the ranch dressing bottles were empty. She left her food, went to the kitchen and brought dressing out for the people in line. Not playing on her phone but paying attention to the customers. Good job Annie??? An employee staff that cares.”
“Very nice and clean small town bar. Had good service, but take cash. I always use plastic but thankful I had a few bucks cash. Would have ordered another drink if I had more cash.”
“Love the burrito selection. My guilty pleasure is thier chorizo and egg burrito. It's an absolute mess to eat on the road but well worth the pending indigestion and foreworks!!Hard working staff! I appreciate the fact that each of the locations I have visited featured friendly bilingual staff.”
“So we was on the way to work in Minnesota from Alabama and we was honestly tired of the same old food on the road ya know what I mean so we found this place in the GPS and said why notSo glad we stoppedThis place is unbelievably awesome … It reminded me of the diner we had in Tuscaloosa back in the 90’sOh, and the food was delicious, especially the Chicken Fried SteakThe employees here was super awesome sauce as well … They really cared about our experience while we was thereWe will most definitely stop here again in the future”
“My pizza is always delicious and I greatly appreciate that. Always 100% fresh cook to just for me and staff is incredibly friendly The place is very clean. Truly couldn't ask for a better experience.”
“Busy place with plenty of workers. We were in and out in 15 minutes. I ordered a Tuna Wrap and my hubbs got a foot long sub. It appears to be a newer Subway, they need to do better keeping the restrooms clean and when we were there a woman asked one of the workers for a mop to clean up a drink her child spilled and the worker just stared at the customer and did nothing. The customer said they would just clean up with their napkins and again the worker did nothing, weird. We’d stop here again, but the gas station near it is so bad I don’t think we ever will take this exit. Too bad.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options for those with restrictions.”
“Very quick service, nice counter help, and the food was good. I ordered the honey chicken, I like more veggies and not fried, but that was my mistake of not reading the menu more thoroughly.”
“Easily the best prepared Jamocha shake I have ever had. Kinda ruins it for me now because it will be difficult to outdo the one we had today. Thanks for a great treat.”
“"ABELARDO'S" **NOT** TACO JOHN'SThis place is awesome!!Amazing food, giant portions that make this place an incredible value (2 lb burrito for $12), super clean inside & out, open during a blizzard, & the men working there were so friendly, kind, & were very attentive and welcoming.”
“BK (imo) has the best burgers. Since we skipped breakfast today, I had a made-to-order Double Whopper with jalapenos and a side of Halfsies (half fries, half onion rings) for lunch. Despite being short-staffed, service was prompt and the order was accurately prepared.”
“Best McDonalds I've ever been too, hands down. The automated ordering menu is excellent and everything was correct when we got our food. Breakfast sandwiches were amazing and the hashbrowns were cooked perfect. The staff was super friendly and helpful also.”
“Pizza is out of the world delicious. Plan on calling in order and taking it to go ahead of time with only a 10 minute wait. Seating only in bar. I'm giving them a 6 ⭐ rating”
