“Service was fast, efficient and cordial. I had the Zeno's Special pizza and it was outstanding. The crust was perfect, not too hard and not to chewy. The ingredients were fresh and you could taste all the individual vegetables and meat distinctly. The prices were comparable to national pizza chain restaurants and the pizza came out quickly.“

“Authentic Mexican in Iowa? Who would have guessed! We live in Texas, where good street tacos are prized. Maria's are as good as any I've had at home or in Mexico City. The posole was flavorful, and husband said the burrito was five star. Homemade horchata was best I've had anywhere. Every time we come to Marshalltown for family, Maria's is a must stop. Don't expect a fancy restaurant. It's window service from an old house, and you eat at picnic tables on the enclosed front porch or outside. But every Texan knows the best Mexican food comes from a hole-in-the-wall joint.“

“I dined here years ago one time, & this was my 2nd visit. I am following a keto plan, & was able to have the Legend's burger with no bun, well done, with a condiment cup of dill pickles, & broccoli instead of fries. It fell within my plan & was delicious. Our waitress Hannah was excellent, & very kind. 5⭐️
My only issue was that the bathroom door lock/doorknob is broken, so hopefully they'll change the knob soon.
Overall it was a great lunch. Very pleased.“

“Hella dirty and gross always. Food portions are tiny and over priced. Food is mediocre at best.

Edit* Perkins has made a change for the better. My last review was 2 years ago. I've gone here a few times since then. Food is much better. Staff is super friendly. And they cleaned up. Great place to grab breakfast with friends.“

“Food was great and service was great. I ordered a cheese free pizza and they were great about making it and put plenty of toppings on it for me which most places don't but they did. They also put it in a to go box because no one wants that! No other place has ever done that and i appreciate that!!!

“Food was really good, I had the 3 appetizer special. I ordered pretzel w beer cheese, wonton tacos (so good), and fried shrimp. My date had a bang bang hamburger which he liked. The waiter put order in wrong and i received buffalo chicken wings with beer cheese Lol! He apologized when I pointed it out and said he would re-order the pretzels. After waiting several minutes he came back and said the cook had misunderstood and dropped onion rings but that he was making pretzels and would be out soon. They did come but we were done by then so boxed for home (they were still very good later) I was a comfortable, clean atmosphere. Tho some mistakes service is still a four rating due to effort to correct and pleasant personality. Sorry not pics 😏“
