“Excellent BBQ place! The smell alone is divine! We spent Valentine’s Day here for lunch! Brisket was so juicy and Omgoodness melt in your mouth tender (without being mushy) hubs devoured huge portion of the Briskey Dipper also 10:10! Jalapeño hush puppies with a spicy aïoli & hallelujah potatoes were nice balance with the meats! Never could eat it all in one meal that just means we’re also enjoying today! So juicy it warms up nicely! Highly recommend can’t wait to go back and try more menu items!“

“This restaurant is my guilty pleasure food to eat. Pancakes are something I would never go to a restaurant for but OHH!!! These pancakes taste like dessert! Everything I’ve tried has been great. Prices are fabulous. Staff are friendly. Service is quick. Haven’t tried the non-breakfast items but why would you when there’s PANCAKES! Only negative is they aren’t open for dinner during the week. Oh and the coffee drinks are great.“

“Food was excellent! Waitress needed to be more attentive. We ordered appetizers and she brought 4 plates—there were 5 of us. Asked twice for another plate. Two in our group ordered burgers. Asked for ketchup when food came. She brought it after the burgers were eaten. Guess she wasn’t focused on serving!“

I’d considering trying Sliced Beef in Hot Chili Oil or Grilled Fish as they are our go to whenever we eat here. The only downside would be the Atmosphere as it does look a bit run down but overall a 5/5.“

Food: Everything was absolutely delicious! We ordered orange chicken, sesame chicken, chicken with green beans, 8pc crab rangoon, 4pc teriyaki chicken, bar-b-q spare ribs, chicken lo mein, and a side of sweet and sour sauce. For starters, the teriyaki chicken is my new favorite lol. It’s not dry or overcooked and it’s cooked thoroughly. The bar-b-q spare ribs are super tender and smothered in sauce; so good! We were pleasantly surprised with the orange chicken as well. It’s not overly in your face orange flavored nor is it too sweet. The sesame chicken is also really well flavored. The noodles in the lo mein were firm and soft at the same time with great flavor. The chicken in it was tender and thankfully, the noodles weren’t overloaded with veggies. Honestly, I’m not big on crab rangoon, but these are good! They’re filled to the brim and really creamy. Chicken with green beans exceeded my expectations and it will definitely be on my “always order” list lol. Portion sizes were more than I expected as well. They really pack the to-go containers and the meat itself is good, large chunks. I can’t wait to try more of the menu!

Service: We were promptly greeted when we walked in and the wait time was minimal. The staff was pleasant and greeted us with a smile as well. While ordering online, it was a bit of a pain and it tells you to add a tip before checkout, which was almost not an option to opt out if you wanted to. Our order was correct and done quickly, even though they were busy.

Ambiance: It’s not the biggest inside, but that didn’t stop others from dining in. It was packed for dinner rush and smelled amazing. Overall, it was kept clean, no debris or old food on the floor or tables. The menu is large and easy to navigate. While it was full, it wasn’t uncomfortable; not elbow to elbow.“

Our food came and with all the extra dishes that we had stacked up ready to be picked up sat at the end of the table where the person on the end had to turn their plate end for end just to sit it on the table. The food runner left with an empty tray saying that she would send somebody back to pick up the dishes. The food got cold real fast. They never came back so we stacked the dishes on the neighboring table when those people left. Prolly won't get another 155.00 from me.“

“Well this is a surprise: I had the best buffalo chicken wrap of my life. Fresh, crisp lettuce, perfectly sauced chicken, the right amount of shredded cheddar cheese, and I exchanged ranch for Bleu cheese dressing, which was on the side. If unwrapping it wouldn't have been unseemly, I'd have shown you inside. I opted for sweet potato fries, but took most of them home because I enjoyed the wrap so much! My other party had the whisky burger and regular fries, and he was happy too. Our server was attentive and quite friendly, and that's awesome because she had the bar and other tables to help. I've been to Whiskey River before, but this visit was a standout. Thank you for making my day!“

“Went to their Adams Family High Tea Party. Food was great, small tea party portions, finger sandwiches and they did a great job explaining about the foods and teas. There was a tea that some think tastes a little like popcorn. Being a lover of popcorn, I chose it first, I can't say it tasted like popcorn. Perhaps they used the tea pot for something else at one time and didn't get the smell/taste out. I would like to go again for the tea party or some of their other themed parties.“
