“Great pizza, filling and good value for the money. Lots of cheese, the crust is very good, and the edge crust can be eaten with honey. Only one critique. They need to stop handing out the packets of honey to go with the crust. It's not real honey, but a sugary knockoff that granulates. Otherwise, great pizza!“
“This place has been around for years but for some reason my wife and I have never got around to trying it. Now that we are not dining indoors because of Covid, we decided to try their takeout service. (They don't deliver, and it's not on Doordash.) I'd give it a 3.5, which I'll round up to 4. The young woman who took my phone order was pleasant and efficient, and the order, when we got it, was completely accurate. My wife wanted to try the Tuscan chicken but when I attempted to order that over the phone, was told they don't do that meal on takeout. So, after a hurried conversation with my wife, she ordered the cod parmesan with cheesy risotto instead. I got the chicken parmesan. Both meals were pretty good but neither was memorable. The portions were large, giving each of us a leftover meal. (My wife is somewhat leery of leftover seafood meals; she says if the food isn't fresh the leftovers can be "fishy", but she says her leftover cod tasted fine.) Each entree came with a salad, a roll, and what appeared to be a garlic breadstick. The salad dressings (creamy garlic parmesan for me, ranch for my wife) were both excellent, and the bread was quite good as well. This may be a case where the side stuff actually tasted better than the main meal. Bottom line: a decent meal, but probably not good enough to get us to drive clear across town for takeout again. It's too bad the restaurant doesn't offer outdoor seating in the warm months, or provide delivery.“
“Ordered some Jeff’s pizza on this very cold winter day. I ordered it for take out and came and it picked up.And then on my way home I came across a college kid who was stuck in the snow right outside of Towers. I hopped out to help him out, and a Jeff’s delivery driver pulled up right behind me and asked to help pull him out with his truck.Good food, good service, and good people. Might not have been completely related, but a nice coincidence that I thought deserved recognition.“
“The kids had a lot of fun here. The pizza was good. The bowling lanes were clean and well-maintained. We spent a lot of time in the arcade. It was a little pricey, but comparable to other arcades. The kids really liked the indoor playground. It was understaffed for winter break, but the employees were great at quick service and getting what we asked for. Only complaint is that the lightest bowling ball was 7 pounds, too heavy for little kids.“
“Went there on Pi day when it was super chaotic, they definitely had a plan in mind and we're pretty efficient with their process. It was honestly the tastiest pizza I've ever eaten and I was sad that I ate the whole thing because I didn't have more.“
“Love their Chicken Artichoke pizza. You get a choice of regular or thin crust, and three pie sizes. It's take and bake, so I don't think ambiance is important. The place seems clean, and the staff is quick and friendly. I've been several times and have never been disappointed.“
“Great service and good food. Only real issue was with the pizza. We ordered a specialty pizza on hand tossed regular crust, however the crust was paper thin, especially with all the toppings. We had to eat it with a fork. But it was still good.“
“Very busy place on this Saturday night. The crew headed up by a Caucasian bearded guy did a great job (I didn't get his name but he said he was a manager). Sure, they ran out of stuff occasionally, but it was refilled fast and was hot and fresh! I was impressed with the number of staff on duty as well. It seems like so many places these days aren't well staffed on their busy nights/days/times. I'll definitely keep coming back here.“
“College town pizza at its finest. Have been eating here since i was a kid. I have never once been disappointed with the quality of the pizza in 15+ years. If you are ever in Ames, this is a must stop.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a long ramp on the backside of the building, along with handicap parking spots.“
