“We planned this trip specifically to spend the night near Grimaldi's Pizzeria. As we checked into our hotel we were on the phone calling Grimaldi's to place our usually order, large pepperoni with black olives. IMHO, the best thing crust pizza in West Des Moines/Ankeny IA and old/new town Scottsdale AZ! Rumor has it they are coming to Omaha, I will be a regular when and if they do! If you are nearby a Grimaldi's, you must give them a try.“

“We had a wonderful experience at this small Italian pizzeria. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and everything was very clean, including the bathrooms, which I always appreciate. The salad was fresh with crisp, cold lettuce, which was a great start to the meal. We ordered both pizza and pasta, and both were fantastic. The pizza crust was perfectly crisp, just the way it should be. The pasta was outstanding! Honestly the best chicken Alfredo I’ve ever had. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the sauce was rich, cheesy and delicious. You can really tell they take pride in their food and their restaurant. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Love Truman’s! They hosted us last night for my birthday celebration and they did not disappoint. They never do! The food alone is delicious, their menu has something for everyone, plus some unique pizzas that I have tried to replicate. (Theirs was better 😉) Their service is always great too. Friendly staff, always helpful, and the dude who hosted our party of 26 last night was awesome and made sure we all had a great experience and had what we needed throughout our time there. “My pizza was very tasty. Nice chew on the crust, good fresh cheese wish it had some brown on it. Hot honey pepperoni with white sauce is very good sauce mixes together very good. Service was good could have more variety of beer. No dark beer on tap. Shelf next to High tops are dusty and had Nats flying around.“

“Came in on a Saturday for a softball break. They only had ONE worker named Devina. Well she ended up being AWESOME. She tended our table of 12 and worked her butt. Luckily she had some kind gentlemen customers that jumped behind the bar and helped her out. She made us some of the best bar pizza I’ve ever had. Was a very pleasant surprised. I was told 1 to 1 and a half hours at 1 hour 50 minutes I called to find out where our food was. I was told that they tried to deliver our food but were unable to deliver our order but they could not do so. I then asked why it was unable to be delivered and "the manager" stated that they tried to call me, no one ever did call me and I can prove it. The "manager" could not provide a reason the order was undeliverable. I then told them that my husband would be coming to pick it up and that they needed to make it right by refunding part of our order NOT all just part of it for the inconvience (not being nasty at all). The "manager" stated "I am canceling your order. Go somewhere else." When asked why he said "You are being rude." I told him he had poor customer service skills and hung up. My husband and I ended up going to the Altoona Northern lights and they went above and beyond for us. I will always go to the Altoona store over Hubbell. I highly recommend that you do not go to this store unless you want to be treated like crap.“

“I’ve worked with Evan and his staff the last couple years to get pizza for Centennial boys’ tennis team meals. They have been amazing to work with and very accommodating, even with weather related changes to the scheduled meals. The pizza has been delicious and the boys love it. The 26 inch pizzas are awesome for feeding large groups. I would highly recommend Dough Co in Ankeny!“

“I grew up eating The Other Place Pizza at one of the older locations, in Evansdale. I think OP Pizza is the very top of the line of Pizzas, and consider it the gold standard for how a pizza should be. Sure, I like other pies, but OP can’t be beat. Often though, lately, with my high standard, naturally I am disappointed at different Other Place locations if they don’t get it quite right. A little undercooked or over, not enough sauce, served a little too cold, crust not as thick…. Been a while since I’ve had the perfect OP Pizza. Well, today at lunch we went to the Clive location for the first time and ordered at 14” with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, black olives and mushrooms… and it was absolutely PERFECT! They knocked it out of the park! Crust perfect, sauce amount perfect, cooked to perfection, of course the toppings are always top notch. You know it’s good when you’re full and you just want to keep eating. Great job ladies and gentlemen at the Clive location. You made this 40 year old OP Pizza lover very happy today. Lord Bless.“

“Food was great and the staff were very polite. The place was busy and it seemed like they needed to have one more person working at that time. The Parmesan cheese was empty and the staff didn't have time to refill it. I don't know if they were busier than usual because it was Valentine's Day or if someone called in sick, but the people who were working were busting their butts! We were really glad to find a Godfather's Pizza relatively close since the one in our neighborhood closed a few years back. We will definitely go again.“
