“They've really tried to change in the last 5 years or so. They offer daily special meals like steak night (mondays) and taco night (tuesdays). The steaks are legit some of the best I've ever had. Served with very well seasoned grilled onions and mushrooms.

I was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease and it’s awesome to be able to come here with my family, order a gluten free pizza and eat most of the salad bar. “Unbelievable service and food! I came here for the first time on 01/16/26, and was greeted right away by Ashanti, and ordered a beer while waiting for my pizza to get done (I ordered right when I entered the restaurant, FYI). It was a very pleasant atmosphere, and some of the best service I have ever experienced in a pizza place (or any restaurant for that matter). Ashanti was fabulous and attentive (since I ordered a few beers while waiting). She also made sure that my pizza was done to my liking before I paid. The cook, Eunice, also came out and wondered how I liked the food. When tasting, it was out of this world. I would say that its the best pizza in central Iowa (seriously!). Because of the service from Eunice and Ashanti, I promise to return to this location very soon! I will also spread the word with my other Italian friends about this hidden treasure in Waukee! Thank you Scornovacca's, Ashanti and Eunice! What an experience. :)“

“This is just a pickup and delivery site. I ordered My Hut Box deal which was an entree with a side and chose the two topping personal pan with boneless chicken wings for $6.99. it was a super deal! It was hot and fresh and ready when I arrived a couple minutes early. They have a closed warming station that kept it piping hot.“

“Started off with the Bruschetta Trio, one of each, and all 3 were amazing, although the classic was a little bland compared to the other 2, it was still great.
For pizza, we went with the Ivy, which was incredible since I love white sauce. The amount of each topping is outrageous, they definitely don't skimp here.
Finished with the Famous Cannoli, loved the crunchy outter crust with the thick pastry creme inside.
Hands down the best pizza place in the Des Moines area.
We went at 8pm on a Wednesday and had the whole restaurant basically to ourselves.“

“Came in on a Saturday for a softball break. They only had ONE worker named Devina. Well she ended up being AWESOME. She tended our table of 12 and worked her butt. Luckily she had some kind gentlemen customers that jumped behind the bar and helped her out. She made us some of the best bar pizza I’ve ever had. Was a very pleasant surprised. I would highly recommend getting her some help before you lose her!!!“

“On December 20th, 2025, at 6:58pm, I ordered a large hawiaan pizza and two orders of breadsticks for delivery. I was told 1 to 1 and a half hours at 1 hour 50 minutes I called to find out where our food was. I was told that they tried to deliver our food but were unable to deliver our order but they could not do so. I then asked why it was unable to be delivered and "the manager" stated that they tried to call me, no one ever did call me and I can prove it. The "manager" could not provide a reason the order was undeliverable. I then told them that my husband would be coming to pick it up and that they needed to make it right by refunding part of our order NOT all just part of it for the inconvience (not being nasty at all). The "manager" stated "I am canceling your order. Go somewhere else." When asked why he said "You are being rude." I told him he had poor customer service skills and hung up. My husband and I ended up going to the Altoona Northern lights and they went above and beyond for us. I will always go to the Altoona store over Hubbell. I highly recommend that you do not go to this store unless you want to be treated like crap.“

“I grew up eating The Other Place Pizza at one of the older locations, in Evansdale. I think OP Pizza is the very top of the line of Pizzas, and consider it the gold standard for how a pizza should be. Sure, I like other pies, but OP can’t be beat. Often though, lately, with my high standard, naturally I am disappointed at different Other Place locations if they don’t get it quite right. A little undercooked or over, not enough sauce, served a little too cold, crust not as thick…. Been a while since I’ve had the perfect OP Pizza. Well, today at lunch we went to the Clive location for the first time and ordered at 14” with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, black olives and mushrooms… and it was absolutely PERFECT! They knocked it out of the park! Crust perfect, sauce amount perfect, cooked to perfection, of course the toppings are always top notch. You know it’s good when you’re full and you just want to keep eating. Great job ladies and gentlemen at the Clive location. You made this 40 year old OP Pizza lover very happy today. Lord Bless.“

“Food was great and the staff were very polite. The place was busy and it seemed like they needed to have one more person working at that time. The Parmesan cheese was empty and the staff didn't have time to refill it. I don't know if they were busier than usual because it was Valentine's Day or if someone called in sick, but the people who were working were busting their butts! We were really glad to find a Godfather's Pizza relatively close since the one in our neighborhood closed a few years back. We will definitely go again.“

“Yesterday, my 8 year old granddaughter and my daughter in law came to your restaurant for lunch.
My granddaughter is on a strict diet due to health reasons. The employees were so caring and were going out of their way to make her lunch pleasurable! Her mother and I appreciate that so much!!!

“I started with the meatball appetizer, which was scrumptious. Then I moved on to the Hawkeye pizza. Not because I'm a fan of the Hawkeyes, but because this was the only pizza on the menu resembling a meat-lovers pizza. It had graziano sausage, pepperoni, and one or two other meats. It's not the greatest pizza in the world, but it's certainly a good pie. Their pizza is unique in that it has noticeably more cheese than I've had at any other place without asking for extra cheese. If you're someone who likes a really cheesy pizza, this might be the place for you. The place itself is nice, but I noticed a few things that made me believe it might not be long for this world. First, there weren't many people there and only one server was working that night. Granted, it was a weekday and I only have one instance to go by, but there it is. Secondly, the menu had the hours of operation printed at the top, but they were scribbled out with a pen and reduced considerably. Next, the location isn't easy to find. You're not just going to stumble upon it or find it without a deliberate search. Lastly, there's a larger, more visible, Grimaldi's Pizza place only a stone's throw away. In conclusion, I liked it and wouldn't have any qualms about eating there again if someone I knew wanted to, but I'll likely go to someplace that serves great pizza as opposed to merely a good one. Keep fighting the good fight Coach's Pizza.“

“This store is your typical Casey's store. It was clean, but the warmer selection was a little bit limited. It was a little after lunch so it was understandable. Seems half the staff I had interacted with were happy to be there and the other half seemed like they had much better things to be doing.“
