“On December 20th, 2025, at 6:58pm, I ordered a large hawiaan pizza and two orders of breadsticks for delivery. I was told 1 to 1 and a half hours at 1 hour 50 minutes I called to find out where our food was. I was told that they tried to deliver our food but were unable to deliver our order but they could not do so. I then asked why it was unable to be delivered and "the manager" stated that they tried to call me, no one ever did call me and I can prove it. The "manager" could not provide a reason the order was undeliverable. I then told them that my husband would be coming to pick it up and that they needed to make it right by refunding part of our order NOT all just part of it for the inconvience (not being nasty at all). The "manager" stated "I am canceling your order. Go somewhere else." When asked why he said "You are being rude." I told him he had poor customer service skills and hung up. My husband and I ended up going to the Altoona Northern lights and they went above and beyond for us. I will always go to the Altoona store over Hubbell. I highly recommend that you do not go to this store unless you want to be treated like crap.“

“Stopped in tonight for salad and pizza. Never disappointed in this place. I have to take a minute to rave about the margarita pizza. It is one of the best i have had in Iowa. The strong basil flavor paired with a fresh tomato flavored sauce……plus that crust has depth in flavor making it a great vehicle for all the topping. The Ivy pizza was delicious as well but definitely don’t miss out on trying the margarita.

“Came in on a Saturday for a softball break. They only had ONE worker named Devina. Well she ended up being AWESOME. She tended our table of 12 and worked her butt. Luckily she had some kind gentlemen customers that jumped behind the bar and helped her out. She made us some of the best bar pizza I’ve ever had. Was a very pleasant surprised. I would highly recommend getting her some help before you lose her!!!“

“I grew up eating The Other Place Pizza at one of the older locations, in Evansdale. I think OP Pizza is the very top of the line of Pizzas, and consider it the gold standard for how a pizza should be. Sure, I like other pies, but OP can’t be beat. Often though, lately, with my high standard, naturally I am disappointed at different Other Place locations if they don’t get it quite right. A little undercooked or over, not enough sauce, served a little too cold, crust not as thick…. Been a while since I’ve had the perfect OP Pizza. Well, today at lunch we went to the Clive location for the first time and ordered at 14” with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, black olives and mushrooms… and it was absolutely PERFECT! They knocked it out of the park! Crust perfect, sauce amount perfect, cooked to perfection, of course the toppings are always top notch. You know it’s good when you’re full and you just want to keep eating. Great job ladies and gentlemen at the Clive location. You made this 40 year old OP Pizza lover very happy today. Lord Bless.“

“Food was great and the staff were very polite. The place was busy and it seemed like they needed to have one more person working at that time. The Parmesan cheese was empty and the staff didn't have time to refill it. I don't know if they were busier than usual because it was Valentine's Day or if someone called in sick, but the people who were working were busting their butts! We were really glad to find a Godfather's Pizza relatively close since the one in our neighborhood closed a few years back. We will definitely go again.“

“Papa Murphy's has always been one of the best pizza chains there is, and there's nothing more convenient than picking up a pizza after work to throw in the oven while I shower, all ready and hot when I'm refreshed and clean. The taste is unmatched as well, and in a class of its own for chain pizza. The stores are never super pretty, but that isn't the point. The point is the pizza, and it is wonderful. I would happily recommend Pappa Murphy's!

Parking: The strip mall parking lot is very small and shared with other businesses. I would not attempt to visit the store during super busy hours, but otherwise it works.“

I came here for the first time on 01/16/26, and was greeted right away by Ashanti, and ordered a beer while waiting for my pizza to get done (I ordered right when I entered the restaurant, FYI). It was a very pleasant atmosphere, and some of the best service I have ever experienced in a pizza place (or any restaurant for that matter). Ashanti was fabulous and attentive (since I ordered a few beers while waiting). She also made sure that my pizza was done to my liking before I paid. The cook, Eunice, also came out and wondered how I liked the food. When tasting, it was out of this world. I would say that its the best pizza in central Iowa (seriously!). Because of the service from Eunice and Ashanti, I promise to return to this location very soon! I will also spread the word with my other Italian friends about this hidden treasure in Waukee! I ordered with the young man up front. Decided to wait the 15-20 minutes inside. It was entertaining to say the least. I could see and hear the team of employees in the fast paced process of making my pizza. They were smiling. They were laughing. They were goofy and funny.

“Came on Wednesday so it was not too busy (about half full). Great service (prompt, polite, knowledgeable). We shared the large beet salad and Hugo's pizza. All was fresh and excellent. Bonus was 1/2 price wine so we had to get a bottle. We will be back to try another pizza or entree and enjoy this neighborhood gem!“
