“I love this place because the people here have heart, you can feel the care and passion in their food. They are humble, honest people who make amazingly delicious food. When I was at a low point and couldn’t catch a break, the cook said he’d give me the extra crab rangoons he cooked while waiting for me to pick up my order. “It’s okay, remember to pick up the food sooner next time, we’ll be here” I haven’t visited in a while because of my health but those words helped me feel seen. Thank you, you have the best crab rangoons in Ames and you’ve touched my heart. Merry Christmas, que dios te bendiga.“

“Honestly the best Chinese foods hands down around Ames. All of my friends and I love this place and we are all Asians. I’d considering trying Sliced Beef in Hot Chili Oil or Grilled Fish as they are our go to whenever we eat here. The only downside would be the Atmosphere as it does look a bit run down but overall a 5/5.“

“We love 888! Never had a bad meal or experience here. Lady that usually checks us out is so friendly! We get that food and it’s always tasty, made by people who know what they’re doing! Our favorites are the House Lo Mein, General Tso’s Chicken, 🤤 Egg Rolls are always a must, and the Dumplings with that sauce are the perfect combo.“

“There is an Empress working behind the counter at the Iowa State Panda. I ordered a bigger plate and she gave me so many more scoops of beef and chicken than I deserved. I know I was nice to her, but still. You couldn’t close the box properly. Thank you Panda Empress, I hope to see you again soon.“

“Went in during the lunch rush, and decided to wait for my preferred food. I was waiting for maybe 10 minutes (which is fine; it was the heat of the rush) and I got my food AND they gave me an egg roll for free to apologize for the wait. I’ve always had great service and this location is very clean. Would recommend.“
