“I love this place because the people here have heart, you can feel the care and passion in their food. They are humble, honest people who make amazingly delicious food. When I was at a low point and couldn’t catch a break, the cook said he’d give me the extra crab rangoons he cooked while waiting for me to pick up my order. “It’s okay, remember to pick up the food sooner next time, we’ll be here” I haven’t visited in a while because of my health but those words helped me feel seen. “Honestly the best Chinese foods hands down around Ames. All of my friends and I love this place and we are all Asians. I’d considering trying Sliced Beef in Hot Chili Oil or Grilled Fish as they are our go to whenever we eat here. The only downside would be the Atmosphere as it does look a bit run down but overall a 5/5.“

I ordered shrimp and garlic sauce and I nearly cleared the whole plate. its a sweet little spot that is a great place for a date. the crab rangoons are the best i’ve had ANYWHERE. you could definitely feel the warm, at home atmosphere. overall just a great place to eat either alone or with a friend/loved one.“

“Used all my dining dollars at this place because they make above average Panda Express. This place gets so busy around lunch, I would instead go around 2-4pm when they weren’t busy and food was always top notch. Plus the staff are super nice“

“I, of course, came at rush hour and there were several cars ahead of me. Before I even ordered I was apologized to for the wait. Staff was very communicative on how long orders would be while ordering as well. As I went to pay I was apologized to again for the wait. Even with a small wait time, the acknowledgement from staff was refreshing and appreciated. The food was fresh and pf excellent quality. I really wish this location was closer to home so I could frequent it more often.“
