“We're from out of town (Joliet, Illinois) & stopped in last Thursday night. The plan was to start at Bob's & work our way westward down the street, hitting several bars (as we usually do when in town). That never happened because the bartender (Jen) was so friendly to the wife & I that we never went to any other bar, even though they didn't even have my beer (Rolling Rock). We drank there for several hours & then headed back to the hotel. That's how welcome we felt, thanks Jen!“

“Was out for a motorcycle ride and stopped mid afternoon for some food. Nice atmosphere and very friendly people. My fish sandwich was excellent with two large pieces of nicely done fish with onion, tomato, and lettuce. Excellent food and great service!“
“The place was a great stay. Rooms were clean. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because of the limited amenities such as lack of microwave, fridge etc. But, it's a great place overall especially for the price. Did not get a chance to visit the restaurant. Will stay again.“
