Best soft tacos since I was in Mexico. People were great.
It was a great day, I got to spend the day with my mom and eat great food.
I had a heck of a time at taco house! Me and some friends went after a day at the lake and they hyped it up quite a bit. I got some double decker tacos and nachos. I got both with the fajita steak rather than the ground beef and it was so dang delicious. I do like their salsas though I do wish they had a hotter option. I’m very much a poblano sauce kinda guy though so I’m biased in that sense…anyways, get the fajita steak! You won’t be disappointed!

The atmosphere has a nostalgic vibe, reflecting the decor and courtesy that has remained for years. However, the staff might not always be the friendliest and can sometimes be surly, which has been noted by regular visitors. While the food is worth the wait, there have been mentions of cleanliness issues with tables and highchairs. Despite these concerns, the delicious food and customizable spice levels make Taco House a local legend and a must-visit when in the Iowa Great Lakes area.
