“Since the Clint Henik family have taken over the business it is always opened when their posts say it is. The new freezer is always stocked. I have only had one gal who wasn't pleasant who took my order, but I reminded her that she was there to serve me not the other way around. Told her that her attitude needed worked on. Young people need to be told because most parents don't teach them manners or how to be respectful.. Place was clean the times we were there. Food good. I did have a banana split one evening and it was a little sparse mostly a banana and whip cream, little strawberry's no pineapple that I could see and the ice cream seemed watery. That's the only complaint I have. I appreciate that we have a dairy queen in our town. The Heniks will get all the kinks worked out. So be grateful!“

“This was a great local place with really good food!
Parking: The only issue with parking is how many people enjoy this great place!!! There is plenty of parking, including an overflow lot. We choose to cone back in 30 minutes for a late lunch after the lunch crowd emptied out a little and ate at 1 til 2 pm“

“This was my first time EVER at a Jersey Mike's. I was in town for work and stopped by for a quick lunch. I expressed to the employee that it was my first time ordering here so I wasn't sure what I wanted. He told me the top sellers, his favorites, and asked if I was interested in a hot or cold sub. He sold me on the Famous Philly! The sub was amazing and so was the service!!!“

“I used to come through a lot in 2014 going to Iowa city for chemo. First time going inside. I love that they did not switch to the new menu from last year. And they have a unique menu with tacos and nachos. We're going to stop by more often as I am in the process of getting a new prosthetic leg in Iowa city. My 1 yo loved the fries and the nice staff“

“Food was Subway food, so no surprise there. The staff were helpful and nice. They all wore mask while working. The problem was the other patrons. Apparently they think they don't need to care for others as most of them didn't wear any masks. I don't blame Subway for that.“

“Twice in the last 7days we have had 1 and 2 piece fish dinners with broccoli and cole slaw. The first time the broccoli was barely warm, but we ate it anyway. Tonight, when we ordered I made note of that fact to the order person. When our dinners arrived the broccoli on each was refridge cold. We told the server and he was unsure what to do bu t would talk to the kitchen. Five + mins later, two steaming containers were delivered to our table. Okay, but why not the first time. Something is wrong with your assembly process.
We love your fish, but wasn't happy with what we though were mandatory fries, so did not patronize much . We found out not so by accident. Now, we will come more often. Just correct the cold broccoli defect in your process. We lived in WI for 15 years and miss Friday night fish fries.“

“Please refrain from taking pictures of the employees and posting them online. The two that I saw are both pictures of minors, if you have a problem speak to a manager and they will handle it. If you take pictures you will be asked to leave.“

“Staff here was great! A group of friends and I went on a motorcycle trip when we met a large storm in Mt Vernon. We stored our bikes in the car wash and used the bathroom at subway. The staff offered us to sit inside without needing to purchase anything and even offered us free cookies!?“
