“We celebrated a birthday last night at Izumi - It was fantastic, not only was our food outstanding, our service was in a league all it's own. Our server was so attentive, so quick with everything he did. We had originally thought we'd have 14 in our party, but ended up with 12, we were seating in a "private" dining room - I can't thank you enough for that - it allowed us to talk freely between the 2 tables and not feel like we were being to loud. Highly recommend the all you can eat sushi, although the hibachi was out of this world too! Thank you for a great experience- will definitely be back. Oh almost forgot the Cotton Candy Vending machine was magical too!”

“I live an hour away and I always look forward to going to this particular place every time I’m in that direction. I’ve had sushi in a lot of different places all over the United States and nothing holds a candle this place. Happy ell Maki and Manhattan roll are my favorite. And don’t forget the squid Otsunami salad!!”

“I helped plan and host a surprise retirement party for a dear friend at Tin Roost in 'The Coop'. Mackenzie, their Event Coordinator, was professional, responsive and very detail orientated. She worked with us quickly to plan the party and checked in at appropriate times to be sure we were still on track. Her recommendations for service, food and layout were spot on. The event service staff was polished and hospitable. Each person we encountered at Tin Roost seemed genuinely happy to be working there.”

Super friendly, fast service, and adorable shop.

Their menu was typical and had a bunch of normal flavors that you see throughout. The lady working helped me out and gave great recommendations on everything.

I got the post workout chunky monkey. This is by far one of the better Herbalife shakes I’ve ever had. I think the banana is a good flavor and isn’t chalky at all. The tea was also super refreshing. I got the combo of mega tea and a shame for $17.50. Loved this place.

They also had mega teas to go in a cute little bottle which I thought was a nice convenient option that I haven’t seen many places.

Easy to access in a strip of little stores. Plenty of parking. A kids play area and cute lounge seats. Very nice place!”

“We have been to Micky’s several times since they opened the NL location. We ordered takeout tonight and when we arrived, someone else had taken our food. They were very quick about remaking our order and correcting any issues. Adam (the bartender) was very kind! We will absolutely return!”

“As a former professional brewer and certified beer judge, I can honestly say that the beer at Field Day is as good as it gets. I sampled many of the lagers and IPA’s, and all were excellent. The Czech Pils was my favorite. The food is also great. We sampled the egg rolls and gyro loaded fries. Service was excellent. There were a couple of beer order snafus, but our server, Madi, made it right. The Iowa City area craft beer scene is great, and Field Day is at the top of my list. Great food, beer and service. And the atmosphere is really good, too.”

“I’m pretty positive this is my first ever review, but I really needed to answer your crew’s question and to compliment them.

1.) The best guess I could give, for the mystery flavor, is maybe like a combination of toffee and the smallest amount of macadamia? Either way it’s growing on me!

2.) I have never gone to a business, and immediately just feel like i’m talking to some friends. Your 9am crew was absolutely amazing today and they definitely deserve a thank you.

“Selection and cleanliness are both great but the reason I wanted to review was actually for the mother’s room- it is my first time using one provided by HyVee and it was so nice! It was private and comfortable. There was a place to nurse, change the diaper and wash hands all in one place. It was unexpectedly very nice and I am grateful. We were able to get our groceries AND take care of our four month old 💕”

“I’ll be honest. I do not typically eat the food here. The atmosphere however…. Is immaculate. Thursday and Saturday Karaoke is a must. Fridays they have live music or a dj. The beer is always cold and the staff are always friendly! Throw darts, shoot pool, drink and be merry! 4.5/5”
