“I had an issue with the app glitching on my phone it took the money out and didnt give me a code this is the first this has happened to me. I spoke with a manager and she was super helpful and kind about it and fixed the issue right away this kind of behavior is not what im used to so I wanted to give a huge shout out to her she did awsome and deserves some praise for how she handled this situation these kinds of people are hard to find so please keep her 😁 sincerely a super satisfied customer“

“We were in Des Moines for a soccer tournament and ran across you guys. I was diagnosed with celiac 3 years ago and you guys made hands down the best GF burger and tots I have had in 3 years. That includes better than in n out burger since you guys actually have a bun and they don’t. It’s also the best gf bread I have found in 3 years. I hope to someday make it back again!“

“This restaurant notified us, after we ordered online for delivery, that they believed our driver took our order. They called to tell us that before we even had a chance to believe there was a problem, and fully communicated what the issue was. They remade our order and it was delivered less than a half hour after they discovered the issue. Superior customer service. Highly recommend.“

“First time eating here. Friendly staff, fast service, reasonable prices, generous portions and delicious burgers and fries. I enjoyed the mushroom Swiss burger with perfectly seasoned crinkle fries. Our daughter is home from college, and she told us that’s the best burger she’s had in a long time. She had the bacon cheeseburger. Hubby had the double cheeseburger, it looked great too. He must’ve enjoyed it, he ate the whole thing! Glad we found this place, we will be back.“

“I went in tonight they asked me if I was going to dine in or out so I said I was going to dine in went down to the register ordered they asked me again is this for here to go I said for here they actually packed my food to go I had to ask for a bowl and extra crackers for my chili the only reason why I'm commenting this is because I noticed that the other people that said that they were dining in they were told to have a seat I was never told that and the young lady who took my order blonde hair gray sweatshirt had selective hearing problems sorry I could not provide a name I understand teenagers need a job the least you could do is pay attention to your customer and what they are ordering thank you former special education associate Des Moines Public Schools“

Ok, for the rest of you: Ernie’s is the best bar in DSM. Cheap drinks, good atmosphere, cool bartenders, and the food truck sells great burgers. Recently the owner(s?) has/have enforced a strict playlist on the place (which is worse than letting your bartenders pick the music, if that needs spelled out), but this is a recent hiccup in a place that I frequent and love.“

Being a holiday they were super busy but were turning tables quickly but not being pushy. Food came out fast and tasted great. Prices are super reasonable. Weve had not so good experiences at the Urbandale location so this was a relief, although its further, it was worth our time and $.“

“I went through the drive in and was greeted by a friendly young girl who took my order. She came back with my order within a few minutes. The order was correct and I was on my way. I had the Chicago dog w/no tomatoes. The food was wonderful, and I considered it to be a real bargain. Oh yeah, I'm coming back.“

And my order was done in a fast & timely manner that I didn't even get comfortable in my seat to wait for the order to be done. Will definitely come back to see them two again. “This Burger King is the best one that my boyfriend and i had ever been too. The guy taking our order was the most up-beat happy go lucky guy i had ever met in a fast food buisness. It happened to be his birthday day 70 yrs old i believe. The other manager and staff were so nice and polite. What a great experience it was. Thanks for the great service!“

“The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. It went downhill a while ago but I can definitely say it has done a complete 360 and has honestly been one of our families favorite quick fast food locations now. Definitely better than McDonald's.“
