“This is a small little resturant. We always get the steak and it's in my opinion the juiciest I have ever eaten. The salad bar is small but it's always fresh. The wait staff are very pleasant and you can tell they enjoy working there.“

Everything we ordered was the perfect temperature and the flavor was was worth every penny though we didn't find it overly expensive at all. A definite must try.Parking: It was Sunday so so free stree parking.“
“have been going to Jesse's Ember's for 40+ years. Tonight, showed up at 7:30 PM ordered traditional ribs, which were moist and very tasty at the late hour. We eat out a lot in Des Moines, and these are definitely the best ribs in Des Moines.“

“Wow! Phenomenal food and service. We had been to their old location...but this one is better. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and my wife had the Pecan Crusted Walleye and it was flawless tasting and presentation was also on point! The chopped salads we had before dinner and the cheesecake after....were awesome too! The highlight of the experience was the owners' son Daniel. This young man was so kind and genuinely caring of his guests. My wife and I appreciated his relaxed and soothing demeanor and he was never gone long enough to leave us in need of anything. It's not often that you have a server this young that truly cares about the customer and is empathetic to your needs or wants. This visit was 5 stars all the way! The owners should be proud of their boy and proud of the food they are putting on the table.“
“First time eating at Texas Roadhouse and I wasn't disappointed. We arrived around 2pm on a Saturday and the wait was only approximately 10-15 minutes for a party of 4. Our server was amazing, prompt, and friendly. I wish I could remember her name. We will return soon.“
“I was very impressed!!! I really enjoyed the privacy curtains. The food was very good cooked perfectly! the service was perfect as well very polite and checked in frequently to be sure everything was good and we had everything we needed. I will be back and recommend to all my friends! If I had 1 complaint I guess I'd say the prices but in reality you get what you pay for all around here. It's worth it to me! I do not recommend this as a restaurant for kids. ☆☆☆☆☆“

“Very cool new restaurant space within the upper and lower floor of a mixed residential commercial building. We were seated in the upper floor portion with a larger bar and seating area. The decor is very luxurious and contemporary. Service was A1, which is to be expected for the pricing. Steaks and sides were top notch, done to perfection. Great liquor selection for high end cocktails. Nothing about this place felt like a chain. The experience was unique to this location but keeping the expected quality of food and service.“
