“Happy to have found this hidden gem! I love Pita Pit! Used to go often in AZ, then most locations closed. Moved to Iowa in 2021 and was happy to have found a location in Coralville. Bummed when I found out it had closed. Found this location and I look forward to going! Staff is friendly and quality of food is great!“
“This was, hands down, the best sandwich I've had in Ottumwa. There was a really long line, but I got through fast. They slice your meat and cheese on the spot. The bread is *chefs kiss* so dang good. A lot of people assisted me, but Jacob was definitely the standout. Amazing customer service from him, and from all the staff.
Go try this place out. You will NOT be disappointed!!!!!“

“Was literally just here. Angela and Adam were AMAZING! They're both friendly, professional and great listeners. They didn't make me feel rushed like a lot of other places I go to. They also didn't look like they were stressed out like a lot of other employees I interact with at places.

“First time here and won't be my last. Highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area.The loose meat sandwich was very good as well as the service. My understanding the canteen lunch in the alley has been here since 1927. It is a old school experience and a great place to have lunch.“
