“Food is always delicious! I went in after work on Mother’s Day to take home 3 orders of shrimp fajitas and the patio and tables inside were packed. Despite staff being very busy, I still got my order in 15 min and one of the teens working at the register checked on me while I waited to see if I needed anything. I’ve always had excellent service. The margaritas are delicious as well!“

“I live in Grimes but always drive over to this Panchero's location because it is night and day better than the Grimes location. It doesn't matter how long the line is, or how many online orders they also have to make, they are always fast and accurate. I'm constantly impressed by the quality of the food at this location and the service. I usually place online orders to go and have never had an issue with my order. I rarely write reviews but the Johnston Panchero's deserves it.“

It would have been nice to be told that we needed to go up to the register to pay. You don't see the register when you come in because it's tucked on the side of the door out of the way. Throughout my travels across the country for work, I've yet to find anything that compares. In my opinion, the secret lies in the unique blend of meat and cheese. I do miss the ladies who used to run the place, but I think the new owner has done a fantastic job preserving the atmosphere and recipes that make Taco Casa special. As a regular, I've noticed some subtle differences, but overall, the essence of the restaurant remains intact.“
