“Blue Agave, the Mexican restaurant, truly deserves a five-star rating. From the exquisite food to the captivating decor, including stunning mural art, every detail contributes to an amazing atmosphere. The lively music invites you to dance, while their flavorful margaritas are anything but watered down—unlike many other places. The food and service were exceptional, and I was particularly impressed by the presentation of the churro and ice cream that my friend requested, even though it wasn’t on the menu. It was remarkable. You really need to experience it for yourself. Everything about the place was beautiful, from the clean bathrooms to the incredible theme that permeates every corner, even down to the to-go cups. Blue Agave is not only awesome but also incredibly fun. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire experience and highly recommend that you visit. “10/10. Guadalajara in Waukee is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to.
I’ve eaten here probably 10 times now, and it has been FIRE every single time. The food is consistently incredible, the service is top tier, and the restaurant is always clean, sanitary, and has a great atmosphere.
And I don’t say this lightly — I’ve eaten at well over 300 Mexican restaurants in my life. Guadalajara is at the top of my list.

I’ll continue recommending this place to my closest friends and family. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out. Absolute must-try. Street taco Al pastor paired with house Marg. 🫶🏼“

“I always have great food and drinks and service at this restaurant. They always go above and beyond for their customers. I even noticed this evening, they have these really neat table side holders for people that have a baby seat or something similar. It was really cool and convenient for the young parents. It’s one of my favorites in the area. I highly recommend!“

“Went to Los Tres Amigos with a group of friends and had a really good time. We had a few beers and margaritas, the food was really good, and everyone working there was super friendly.

The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes. You get a lot of food for what you pay, and nothing felt overpriced at all.

We actually stayed talking for a while after we finished and paid, and didn’t even realize it was almost closing time. Nobody made us feel rushed, which we really appreciated.
