“The whole family LOVES El Sol. We frequent this location roughly once every 10 days. The specials change if you want to try something new and the menu favorites are consistent and delicious.Happy Hour until 6 and they have several authentic Mexican choices for drinks as well. Staff is great.Kid-friendliness: There are a couple kid specific options in addition to regular menu selection.“

“There are 2 kinds of people. Those who like Frida Kahlo. And those who like El Sol (the 2 Mexican joints in town). It's hit and miss at both. I've had great meals and I've had bad meals. One thing I can say for sure is that when you ask someone who they prefer, they have their opinion of which is the best choice. For me...I never give a bad review of a nacho chip.“

“The food is amazing, anything you get will be great. Drinks are also awesome. The waiting staff is wonderful and I have never had a problem with anyone there in the probably 100 times I've been there. Clean and tidy restaurant, selection of tvs with different things playing. During Covid they had the best system that I witnessed during the pandemic when all things closed and I picked up food for my family close to once a week during that. “The food was absolutely delicious. We had the shredded chicken quesadilla and burrito bowl with grilled chicken and refried beans. Definitely can tell the tortillas are homemade. Service was friendly and fast. Atmosphere left something to be desired but you hardly notice when you are eating such delicious food.Dietary restrictions: Menu is fairly customizable so you can work around dietary restrictions.“

“I was in town briefly while my son was at rehearsal and I was looking for good tacos. Wow did this place deliver! I had 3 street tacos- Al pastor, carnitas, and carne asada and I really can’t say what was the best. They all had their own flavors that blended beautifully with the sauces. The gentleman who checked me out also tucked some chips and salsa in my bag for my son. The extra mile in service and flavor. This will be my new destination restaurant! Don’t miss this place.“

“I sad I can’t give more stars than 5! If you are looking for great tacos with amazing salsa, come here! I got 2 carne asada and 2 carnitas tacos and it was some of the best tacos I’ve had in a while. Definitely coming back next time I’m at the mall!!!“

“My family and I go every weekend, the food is amazing, service is top notch! Some people are just picky and there’s always going to be people saying they don’t like the food here but I can promise you it is the best of best everything tends to be so fresh! Waiters are both very nice and helpful, I really hope this place stays here I always hear wonders about this place! They also have new patio lights that are just so cute!“

“I've eaten here several times, and the food is always excellent. Most recently, we dined in on a Monday, which is their burger special night. We just happened to hit happy hour as well, so I was expecting a bigger bill. So, I just put a little more in their tip.Burgers are great, drinks are cold, service is wonderful. I substitute the potatoe salad for French fries, and it's really good.I would recommend this place 11 times out of 10 over that 5 Guys place, especially on a Monday. Their burgers are way better! And you can even have an adult beverage with it!Anyone traveling along I-80 should stop here for a burger. Especially if it's a Monday.Parking: There is plenty of parking, but there isn't really a place for truckers trucks hauling/pulling a trailer. So that kind of sucks.“

“The service was a little slow, but considering that we were there In the early afternoon on the Tuesday before Christmas, it's totally understandable. You brought our entrées out and got my order wrong, but was quick to remedy the situation, and when it came out, my food was phenomenal. Very hot and fresh. The atmosphere is very cool reminded me of a "new wave" Mexican restaurant. Wasn't busy but there again, were there in early afternoon and it happened to be a Tuesday. But according to some of my friends that live in the IRL, it's never really that busy, so do yourself a favor and head on over there and give them a shot!!! Speaking of which, they do have some really good tequilas as well.“

“I ordered from door dash and got the Carnitas Verde as well as a queso. It arrived warm and within a reasonable time. I was immediately put off by the color of the verde sauce and the refried beans but with no option I persisted. The food is exactly why we shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. The food was delicious some of the best carnitas verde I have ever had. Will definitely order again!!“
