Drove over an hour to get there by four today because they were closing early. The girl at the front was very sweet. We were very excited to be there and told her it was our first time there. She said we could sit down and order or go to the bar. We sat down and several servers looked at us, but no one waited on us. We went to the bar and said we had never been there before. A guy said there is a menu on the counter but I'll be over there cleaning, let me know what you want and walked away. We had no idea what we were doing since it was our first time there. I wanted to try wines and my husband whiskey, but not if no one wanted to wait on us. So, we looked at each other and decided to leave. Once in the parking lot I realized it was a long way home and I should use the restroom first. So, I went back in, and I told the girl behind the counter we were leaving because no one waited on us, but I needed to use the restroom first. When I came out of the restroom she said to enjoy the rest of our day. Would have had a better day if we could have tried something... Went from very excited to be there to can't wait to leave...“

I’ve had sushi in a lot of different places all over the United States and nothing holds a candle this place. Happy ell Maki and Manhattan roll are my favorite. “I am a celiac and was pleasantly surprised that they have a whole gluten-free menu with lots of options! One of the servers said that she is a celiac, too. That was cool.
The only thing that made me nervous was the wooden cutting boards they served my gluten free food on. Not sure how they clean them, or if they keep them separate from gluten serving boards, but I know we should mistrust all wooden utensils due to their absorbency. These had obvious cut marks on them and everything.
Happily though, I didn't feel and signs of being glutened. With major gluten ingestions I definitely feel symptoms, and I had none to report here. Hopefully that bodes well.

Dietary restrictions: Celiacs may want to be wary but I think that, pending confirmation about their serving boards, this should be safe. I did not experience symptoms of having gotten glutened, at least. The food was delicious.“

“SO happy to see that Saigon’s Corner is now on Chomp! (Maybe this isn’t new, but I don’t remember seeing them there before). We got a ton of food for a very reasonable price, it was very well packaged (pho broth separate from noodles, veg, protein, etc), arrived in a very reasonable time (even on a Saturday night) and it was all fresh and really delicious. We easily have enough for lunch for both of us tomorrow as well. We will definitely be ordering again, and can’t wait!!“

“Ate here for the first time before attending an Iowa basketball game nearby. There were good choices on the menu. I had the spicey Italian meatball grinder with fries. It was good and very filling. Prices seemed reasonable. The place was noisy so it was hard to socialize with my friends. Otherwise, a good place to eat and would go there again if in town.“

“Best Mexican food in the area!!! Sat quickly and our server Marcela was exceptional. The menu is quite large but she was able to make it simple and made good recommendations. The burrito Tacuba was excellent. She also suggested the chicken tortilla soup which was perfect for the cold weather!!

Marcela doubled as our bartender and suggested the spicy margarita and the choco-rita. I couldn’t believe tequila and chocolate worked so perfectly!!

My only complaint is the lighting. Too dark for my eyes. 9/10 will come back soon!!!“

“Upscale-themed restaurant within the Hyatt Regency hotel on the Iowa River Landing. 5-star service by Kat & atmosphere were the highlight of our dinner experience, with the Iowa Corn Chowder a close second. The chestnut risotto was very good, the filet was average, the monkfish was interesting but a little bland, and the beer menu needs to be expanded to include at least one amber/belgian quad option to mirror the type of restaurant they aspire to be. We’ll definitely give it another shot in the future!“

“In visiting my college student. Great environment. Fellow diners were all calm and enjoying their foods. The little kid that was part of the kitchen family that sat in the dining area is really well behaved, respectful when told to do anything. Our food was delivered at a short time (within 10 min) & was so yum! I had the chicken and broccoli and my son had the Kung pao chicken platter. Definitely recommend this place. Thank you!“

“Very unique, creative and very delicious food!When we were there, we tried the west coast wrap and it was full of greens and grilled chicken, goat cheese and pistachios.Fresh food, made to order.One goes up to the register to order and then you wait while they fix your food and then you take it and go sit down. They are multi-level, it's narrow and not excessively deep, but there is quite of bit of seating for two people or four people and even if you're just by yourself. There are larger tables up stairs, (they have two floors) The restrooms are on the second floor, as well. Stairs are used to access the second level.They also have very tasty drinks.We had the blueberry lemonade.

Vegetarian options: I do believe that you could get any wrap adjusted to your dietary needs. One could turn a wrap vegetarian. One could add cheese or leave off cheese. I think that they would accommodate that.

Kid-friendliness: I would say it was kid friendly. There is a big front window and it seems like a very fun place that children would like to be.

Parking: Street parking at metered spots, or one could park in the car park(ramps) and walk.“
