“A great find on the town square! After driving a distance for a shop hop event, we needed a little something-something. And this was a great spot. We ordered a simple ice tea. But it was a great brew, you know what I mean ice tea drinkers. There is something about the perfect ice tea. My friend and I shared a lemon scone drizzeled with frosting and an apricot nut scone. I was expecting the traditional scone texture, kinda dry but these were a tad moister and had lots of good flavor. They also have cookies, cinnamon rolls and a coffee cake that looked delightful. They have a few outside tables but the inside is eclectic with items for sale. The staff was helpful and pleasant to visit with. When in Washington, IA stop by.“

“Refueled at local airport, stopped in for lunch. Called ahead to see if their patio seating was open (we travel with dogs), super nice young lady opened it up for us. Grabbed a few lovely sandwiches with fun sodas/coffees, yummy muffin. Locals were hanging out, in/out for drinks and snacks, such a cute local coffee shop vibe. Pups appreciated the shaded patio, walk at the park across the street. Fun to take a turn around the historic downtown, check out the oldest motion picture theater in the world (State Theater). 8 ?and 8 ? up rating ?“

“So I see everyone complaining about the drive thru. That's fine, you build a business in a location like this. I've been there several times with people although I've only ordered once, I got a bacon,egg, cheese sammich. The only complaint is the bacon wasn't crispy enough for my personal liking. Food itself was 25° hotter than any other place in town.“

“I have been here twice with my four kids in tow and during the busiest time of lunch hour, and I can honestly say I was genuinely impressed by the manager and workers there. The food runner for the app was also incredibly friendly & helpful.“
